Keith, the difference between the 4210 and 4212 is the number of templates that are included. Otherwise they are basically the same jig.I have the 4212 and love it. It is easy to use and the instruction manual is very comprehensive.

Q: Do you have to use Porter Cable router bits with this jig?

No, but BE SURE the non-Porter-Cable router bit has the same angle as the "pins" side of the template, otherwise the pins won't go into your tails! Meaning to say, this jig will cut any tails just fine with any dovetail bit, but the problem arises when you go to cut the pins. The angle of the bit supplied with the jig (also available separately here on Amazon, search for Porter-Cable dovetail bit) matches the "pins" side of the template (the 'pointy' side). Most other bits do NOT! Ask me how I know: One terribly botched-up job that I'm salvaging by hand-cutting the dovetails.

Yes this model does include 2 router bushings needed to make the dove tails.Scott

Q: Does this include the machine same as picture?

When I bought this package from this seller, it included everything pictured, with both jigs. Awesome setup. Be sure you have a router that will accept the Porter Cable dies. I had to go buy a second router.
