This outlet is perfect for my needs. The audible alarm is plenty loud, and the app notifications offer a real piece of mind.We had our previous GFCI trip without warning and we didn't catch it until the food in our freezer had expired. We purchased this to make sure we were alerted if there was an issue. It's a straight-forward installation, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

I had two of these. They were connected exactly the same way. Both of them gave me different failures in the app. It was extremely frustrating. I ended up putting in a standard 20 amp gfci outlet and no issues. I would not buy these again. I sent the bad ones back of course. I complete waste of 2 hours to install,configure and test with bad results.

Bought two of these to monitor two critical circuits. I’ve only received one thus far but it works great. I thought the audible alarm would be constant but it only beeps a few times when it trips. However, the app notification through WiFi works great. Still waiting (weeks) for the second one.

The alerts are great! When this GFCI outlet trips, you get an email alert and a push notification. Plus, there is an audible alarm that activates when the outlet trips. This helps out when you have fridges and freezers in the garage.

I bought a 20A and a 15A audible alarm version (not smart) for use in my basement. The 20A tripped when I used a saw, which used to be a standard occurrence with old GFCIs but is typically only occurs with poor quality GFCIs.The 15A I used to protect an upright freezer that only pulled 2.8A at startup then settled down to a lower current. No significant inrush to note. For zero reason, this one started the audible alarm even though it didn't trip, and manually testing and resetting didn't work.So now I'm stuck with unusable GFCIs, buying other ones to replace these, and buying separate devices to monitor for power outages to know when they tripped. Essentially I'm out the time to replace them and the price of two of these.

This outlet will not connect to my WiFi, and the app will not work correctly to download a log. I started working with tech support, but they seemed to have abandoned the case. Looks like I will wait until Lutron comes out with a smart GFCI. I have dozens of smart switches (mostly Lutron) and other devices with work. This is my first Leviton product, and I bought it directly through them so I could monitor some outlets that seem to trip randomly.
