I have used this with my phone and tablet (NOT simultaneously). The mounting hardware is very easy to use and the clamp is fairly large to work in a variety of locations (eg, headboard, bedside stand). The spring loaded retaining mechanism might be tricky if you have arthritic hands due to the spring tension. There are allen head tension points on the base and arms. An allen-wrench was provided. I have needed to make a few minor adjustments with each arm and the base. The mechanism that holds the phone/tablet there is a ball and socket joint with a ring nut that can be adjusted by hand.I just love this and use it every day. I might purchase one to go with the guest bed, and one for my hobby room when I need my phone or tablet near my working area.lThanks to this I don't fatigue holding my tablet in bed. I can read my online books with dozing off and dropping the tablet onto my face.

Wow, this is a life changer. I have herniated discs in my neck, and sometimes when I read in bed (usually Kindle), my neck starts aching because it is bent forward. With this, I can attached my Kindle and easily adjust it with my head flush on a pillow. It stays where I put it, no matter where I adjust it; the enclosed adjustment wrench is handy for getting the tightness you want. I'm very happy with this purchase and I would buy again.

I like the build quality. Unfortunately the joint where the tablet or phone is located cannot bend 90 degrees which means that the location for the main bracket has to be pretty much in front pf user. As such it does not work well with it mounted on a side table next to recliner for example as it’s not possible to get it pointing straight at user unless the side table is in front or in the way of the recliner. Same happens to use in bed where ot would be mounted on side table.

joints will not stay tight and loosen ever time you move it meaning you have to tighten it every time you move it or it just falls down limp under the weight of an tab a7 lite. aside from that if you just leave it in one spot short of being just a little wiggly side to side its sturdy. it will hold my tab a7 lite once its tight and hold it well. just don't loose the Allen key. the product just isn't working for me. partly due to the need to constantly move it based on where on my desk im currently using it.

I use this arm to hold my 12.9" iPad Pro. It's very easy to set up and pretty sturdy. The original setting of the Allen bolts is not enough for the arms to firmly hold my iPad Pro. The good thing is the Allen key is included, so all I need to do is tightening them up then it works perfectly.

This thing is very durable and works great. It will easily hold a tablet in place. My only complaint is that the last doesn't quite turn far enough. It would be able to accommodate a lot more angles with 2 ball joints instead of 1.

Looks great, not bad in price, but once I put my ipad on, it lost all its tension. So now my ipad just sinks no matter what I do. Tried tightening screws but didn't work.
