Brief but Accurate Information on Day Trading
Writing a review of this book is a bit difficult for me, but let me give it a shot and see how it goes. First, Tim Morris is a very great guy. I have read some of his other books, and every time I had a question or was confused about something, I Emailed Tim and he quickly responded with the answer or a clarification. As I stated, I have read some of Tim’s other books, and I like his writing style, and no BS approach. The thing that makes rating this book a bit difficult has to do with the book’s cost. It currently costs 0.99 cent, so how critical can one be.Things I liked:• Does a great job explaining day trading• Hits the highlights every trader should be aware of: stop loss, trade setup, trade entry, trade exit, trade risk percentages, etc.• Presents eight different trading strategies• Presents links to different sites that I’m usually never aware of but are beneficial, and I can make use of.Things to be aware of:• He does not day trade for a living, so keep that in mind. He has done some day trading but honestly admits, it is not something he is “cut out” to do.• You are given eight different trading strategies but they come without any back testing to show how effective they are, but I don’t expect that from a book that costs 0.99 cent. If it cost $29.99, I would expect a more in-depth analysis of each strategy and its back testing results.• Keep in mind; you real needed to test each strategy yourself and determine its value.Overall, I still think the book is worth 5 stars. It’s an easy read, something you can probably get done in a half a day, and there are good trading points made throughout the book. Just be aware that it’s a brief book and doesn’t cost that much, so don’t expect to become a multi-millionaire day trader following the strategies.

It's an impressive primer on day-trading & a useful revisit of strategies for the seasoned traders.
I'm impressed with the day trading strategies discussed in the little book. Other well-known authors had covered some of the strategies discussed in the little book in depth, but Tim cut out all the fat and presented it in a simple form for easy digestion.Finding a few strategies that fit your personality for day-trading isn't the hard part. The tricky part is the application of discipline and money management. However, Tim's book is a great introduction book for those who like to learn what day trading is all about quickly. If one is interested, there is still a long road to building up experience and education to apply discipline and emotional control for successful day trading.

Tim Morris Hits the Nail on the Head
This should be required reading for anyone interested in day trading. Tim Morris reveals the good, the bad, and the very ugly in an easy-to-read no-nonsense book. He also offers 8 day-trading strategies along the way.I have to admit, I'm a big Tim Morris fan and have read all of his books - he's forthright, sincere, humble, and I love his writing style. His books are to-the-point without being full of fluff. Get the book - you won't be disappointed.I've emailed him several times with questions and he answers within minutes - who else does that?

SURE you want to be a daytrader?
This is a good read and probably deserves more than the 3 stars that I'm giving it, (if you're dead set on trying day trading) BUT I just wanted to encourage you to read my 2 cents. Like most aspiring daytraders, I thought I would be different from every other rookie (aka, fresh meat in the market). It took me about two months and some pretty bad days to make me realize I was no more charmed than any other day trader. The people who make money in day trading are those who write the books. PERIOD. With today's' algorithms, HFT computers, teams of financial PhDs, how is it that we think we, as individuals, can beat the market? Instead, try swing trading or longer team trading, where the computers are less likely to eat you alive. (You CAN beat the market. After all, real PEOPLE still make many of the decisions on picking a stock and when. That's IF you pick the right fight.) That's what I've done and now I spend about 10 hours less per day in front of my computer and I'm making good money instead of losing it. It's a no-brainer, my friends.

This book delivers the promise in the title.
I have become a fan of Tim Morris and his single-subject books. This is the sixth book I have read and they all deliver what Tim promises in the titles. In this book, Tim delivers again with a straight-forward and honest overview of the day trading literature and online course industries. Then, in his customary manner, Tim goes on to present some realistic methods for a beginning day trader to try...with no lies about getting rich quick. I have been an on-and-off day trader over the years and this book reveals the reality.I highly recommend this book for anyone thinking about getting into day trading. The price of this book is much less than blowing up a day trading account!

Short book that offers some basic setups. They make sense but the book could be much more complete and well organized. Just average

Worth the read for most levels of traders
Candid book with alot of real information you could read dozens of other books to maybe find. I agree with alot of what is in here, and have found day trading stocks as is described here and as taught in other books difficult and overwhelming. . Too much looking for what to trade. Etc. I have found focusing on one or two futures contacts much more manageable.... some different matters to consider, but a better option for day trading.
