This is really good, I use it three strands at a time to make bracelets, that works well for 8mm beads. It keeps its stretch well - unless a destructive toddler gets hold of it!

So far, so good!
I have just ventured into my bracelet making era for the first time and saw this elastic recommended in a YouTube video. I have made five bracelets so far and it seems to hold up pretty well. Time and concerts will tell if it lasts and doesn’t break, but I’m confident in it so far! I bought 4mm beads to use on this and it is surprisingly easy to string the beads on it since it doesn’t collapse when trying to thread it through the beads like a softer material would. Tying the knots in it is also fairly easy and they seem to hold. I am using the gs hypo cement as a backup to holding the knots in place just in case too. If my bracelets fall apart once they are being worn, I will update, but as of now, I really like this product!

I've stopped buying anything else.
I'm over a hundred bracelets in to my Taylor Swift Bracelet Era and have donated or tossed all the heavier or waxed cotton threads I originally purchased/received. Waxed cotton is flexible but can easily break when making a tight knot. Thicker thread may be durable but can't accommodate most seed beads and the knots are huge and hard to hide. I've managed to snap off a few knots when attempting to tie off double threaded bracelets with this but put it down mostly to user error, not the product.I'm sure I got well more than fifty bracelets out of the first roll; many of which were doubled threaded. Measure and STRETCH before you cut. The best size for women's bracelets is seven inches of beads; a length of ten to eleven inches of STRETCHED out thread will give you plenty to left to tie the knot on a finished bracelet. Use a ruler and STRETCH. Stretch the entire bracelet again before tying a knot.
