This adapter did not work at all for us on a recent (April, 2022) trip to Italy: The EU prongs absolutely would not fit into the outlet in our AirBnB. We were lucky to find an adapter that allowed us to plug it in. Not sure if there's a difference between Italy & much of the rest of the EU.
