The handrail is easy to fit using the fitting kit that is purchased separately but without which the rail cannot be fitted. The rail is very useful for my mother (aged 102) to access our caravan and is also an added security device. The rail has to be positioned to clear the door handle/lock and to make the rail easier to reach an increase in height of the rail would be useful.

The handle is a good aid to enable access in and out of the unit

Very solidly made (the doorframe would buckle before the handle broke!) and has proved very helpful/useful as an aid to entry/exit of our motorhome. Looks a good deterrent as a lock for the door, too.

The first thing I liked about it was it helps me in and out of our caravan,which boost my confidence. The second thing is it is an extra security feature as when you fold it back towards the door it has a lock on the bottom and adds extra security to locking your door, the handle has it own key and so does the caravan door.

A little expensive but very sturdy, easy to fit providing you have room inside van to attached the spreader plate. Easy to lock in position as both upper & lower mountings have security locks.

This is a good handle and strong, but for me it didn't work as you have to bolt the handle through the caravan wall, to get the strength. In my van this would foul the internal fly screen and I would have to remove the screen to fit it.If you buy it and try it, because it comes from a third party, the manufacturer, Amazon will make you pay the postage to return it, and it is quite heavy.

great item fully lockable in place either over door handle/lock, awar from caravan/motorhome or back against van. once locked can only be opened by key so stops someone locking yoou in the van. soft padded non slip angled handle. comes with full instructions including drilling template. also has white square plastic covers for inside the van to cover fixings. great as added security and also for disabled and infirm. does not intefere with erection of an awning when placed flat against a van. suitable for both way opnening doors (foreign vehicles) as it can be locked in three positions. fits flush or at a 90 degree from van.
