This has got to be one of the best gadgets I've purchased in terms of the satisfaction I got when it worked first time, straight out of the box and the quality of the picture it reproduced. If you see the attached pictures hopefully you can appreciate how great the image looks.I simply plugged the Rx cable in the back of the TV (as shown in the pics) and then plugged the Tx cable into the HDMI port on my laptop. The USB port is where it gets it's power from so it's really handy if you have a USB port right next to the HDMI socket, or very close by. If you don't then it's not a show stopper as you can power these from a standard USB Type A 5V charger if needed.This is what I would call true plug and play. There no settings to mess about with, no drivers to install, and no app needed either. I just plugged the dongles/cables in (as explained), and to my surprise they just worked flawlessly the very first time. I purchased this product so that I could make use of my large 55 inch TV in my kitchen / diner when working from home and duplicate the display from my laptop monitor to the TVs screen.One thing that they didn't mention in the advert, and is such a great feature, that they really need to mention it and they may even sell a lot more of these; and that feature is that not only can you mirror the display from your laptop, but you can also extend the display so that you are effectively using two monitors and that just gives you so much more area to work in. I have tried to show both features working in the attached photos. One photo shows the standard mirror effect and the other photo shows the extended displays (dual monitor effect).This is even cheaper now than when I purchased it and that makes it an absolute bargain as there are so many different scenarios I can see me using this for. Its small and compact in design, comes in a nice sturdy little zip up pouch to store it in when not in use, and just works without having to mess around with any settings, apps, or driver software.

I really like this tool, especially since I have a TV, which is not smart, so this tool converts it into a recipient for mobile videos, making it great to watch movies and have online calls with my family back home!i highly recommend it

I had high hopes for this product. I only wanted to cast across a open room, max 10ft.The device was super easy to connect, but the picture and sound were jumpy and couldn't be watched.Only item in the way was the tv itself.Would be fine for something relatively static like a PowerPoint presentation, but any live video - no chance

Excellent solution to having trailing wires from one device to another, worked really well there is about a 3m gap between the 2 and it worked perfectly

Purchased this as a pesky mouse has chewed through our hdmi cable in the ceiling however this struggled to obtain a stable connection within 15ft, although states 1080p it would not work unless 1080i was selected on sky box.When it did connect it was juddery, lip sync was terrible even after multiple adjustments it would always go out of sync. Image quality was dramatically reduced compared to hard wired.You'd be happily watching and it would come up saying unsupported connection.Sadly returned and relocated sky box next to the projector. Luckily I wired in satalite cable behind the projector!

Bought to connect Xbox and PS4 to projector at rear of room. Was cautious as reviews in similar products indicated didn't work - but this was spot on. Tiny bit of latency on Xbox but only because I was specifically looking for it. None on PS4. Only tested within same room (5M apart) but did exactly what I needed it to do. Goodbye stupidly long HDMI cable. Literally plug and play so up and running in seconds.Can't assess longevity yet - but fingers crossed. Excellent gadget bought during black friday sale.

Send NC+ box to other room great quality picture could be cheaper

I've used products like this in past and most of them looked like small box receivers. However, this one is much more compact, it's pretty much a HDMI cable with a USB connector on the other side. This form factor is much better to travel with. It's good for close-by HDMI mirror connections and I didn't really pick up any issues, it'll be fine for presentations, etc. Just ensure that you use decent power connectors (probably 2A minimum) to power these.
