V12 Torpedo Whistling Rocket (Styles Vary)

This is the second of these we've had. My daughter and her friends love taking it to the park and throwing it about. Great fun to use, loads of different games you can make up - and not a screen or mobile phone in sight!The only limitation is that the fins are made of a light foam and it doesn't take too long before they get damaged when the rocket hits the ground. Our first one still flies, but about 1/2 of each fin has come away - it works but you can't throw it quite as far.A simple and very enjoyable thing to use on a beach/park on a sunny day (it doesn't fly too well in the wind!)Recommended

I played with a friend’s one and loved it, so ordered my own.Don’t recommend using it in the water as the tail came out after that. Must have destroyed the glue!

It whistles too

For a one-off plaything, it’s fun. the whistling noise is great. it’s colourful. it flies well.BUT (and it’s a big but) for this price the design of the fins is awful. flimsy glued on foam that due to the nature of the product (made to be thrown and caught), mean one or two fins rip off within a few hours of “normal” use.We rebought the product from a different shop on holiday in case our Amazon one was a dud, and it once again became unusable within three plays. Save your cash andbuy a beach ball and a whistle instead!

We got this for xmas for my son. Yesterday was the first time we got to use it , he love the whistle noise it makes and its good item for him to learn to throw with as im trying to build on catching and throwing skills.I do worry what will happen if the dogs catch hold of this, as they destroy tennis balls now. But I just have to get another one then.

Absolute rubbish. Fins at back of item broke off at first use. Totally unsuitable - lack of any durability and not fit for purpose. AVOID.

This was a replacement for our old rocket of the same make that lasted years.This is exactly the same and we are looking forward to the same amount of fun in the future.
