Really happy with this bag. It is raw leather, no paint or polish, so it scratches and stains (good things), and each mark makes it unique and your own.The shoulder straps do slip a little with use, but that is easily solved with a safety pin in each strap. No slipping since.Only a couple things I don't like and they are VERY MINOR. First, the stitching is done with a white thread so it stands out. I don't care to see all that. Rubbing with a little shoe polish is toning that look down.Second, the straps come together in the middle of the top and go out to the outside bottom corners, forming and upside down "V" shape. This makes it uncomfortable for wearing with both straps. If they were just a bit further apart, it would be much more comfortable.

I bought this for grad school and it appears to be everything it was advertised as. The leather looks great and the stitching looks sturdy. It is, however, too soon to tell if it will hold up like a leather product should. Judging by the workmanship, it should be everything I would want. Overall, high marks. My only complaint thus far would be the lining in the top pocket: it does not "fill-in" the pocket and thus renders this space all but useless.

I loved the look and the utility of this product until taking it with me on my latest work trip. I was putting it on my shoulders after landing when one of the shoulder straps broke clean off at the seam. I looked closer and I saw that the other one was going to probably end up the same way. For the money I paid, I'm really disappointed. I bought this to replace a shoulder messenger style bag that someone had bought me 15 years ago and other than looking beat up, the shoulder strap was just starting to wear (product is all leather, made by Wilson's leather company ages ago). I like the functionality, I like that it fits my 18" laptop, but I really didn't like that the strap busted and it's just not very durable.

A high quality bag for a great price. The leather and fasteners on this bag all seem very sturdy, the color is very close to what is pictured in the listing. The bag was initially a little stiff but has since loosened up with a few weeks of use. There is plenty of room to carry work-related items (I.E. laptop, writing tablet, pens, etc...). The pockets on the front are good for storing small items. I don't have any issues with this purchase. I would definitely recommend this for someone looking for a more professional leather backpack.

Looks be all as advertised! Thick, stiff leather and great color (just like pics in listing). Zippers work well, nice lining in main bag, great lined and zippered pocket inside, too! Buckles on outside look nicely aged and work fine. Can't wait for trial run to NOLA for pre-Mardi Gras trip. I hope I don't have to amend this review!!!10/19- After 3 trips totaling 3 1/2 wk. and 8-10,000 mi, have to say it surpassed all expectations! No rips, ravels, or holes. No smell except nice leather! I can't recommend this pack enough!

While I love this bag I am disappointed the shoulder strap has torn in under a single year of use. I’ve reached out to the seller to see if they will do an exchange. Seller response was short. No exchange past 30 days. I don’t recommend this bag the strap broke within less than a year and this is the second bag I’ve gone through, both with the same issue.

Love the bag. Used it for first time this week on week trip. Day 2 of use just from using as pack back on plane and walking around, pack back stitching for strap into upper part of bad starts to come out. So basically one strap is ripping out. And I had 1 lap top and small water bottle in in bag nothing that should have tore out strap stitching

It doesn't have that vintage old worn out look and color. Its same brown color on every part of it. The backpack is also flat with all its pockets due to storing and packaging, so in order to give it its shape back it's needed to be stuffed with clothes and sit like this for a couple days. Stitches on straps and straps themselves seem different rather than selling pictures show
