The Best ever heating pad...........amazing
This heating pad is so good I now own four of them. I had one in the office to wrap around my painful knees and it is a dream. One on the back of my chair where I watch TV. Then we had a oops and I had to relocate my one that was on the back of my chair to the bed after a injury on another person in the house. these wash up amazing and look like new......it covers the entire back area. it is a true godsend and the controls are slick one of the best ways for getting the temperature where one wants it

Just What I Was Looking for, Works Great!
Rather than heat the whole house, in the winter I had been running an electric space heater in my bedroom at night. But with the highest electricity cost in the US where I live in California, this was a pretty expensive solution. I tried sleeping with a typical small heating pad, which was OK, but I needed something bigger to spread the heat out. The heating pad got too hot if run at full power, but the same amount of heat would be great if spread out over a larger part of my body. Sadly, none of the potential larger heating pads on Amazon list their wattage, so it really came down to guessing and hoping for the best. My old small heating pad claimed it was 120 watts--this is a type of time weighted average, as it draws up to 150 watts on full power, but like all of these devices, is constantly turning on and off--that is how the heat level is controlled, less heat = more off, more heat = more on. Same as you dimmers on the lights in your house, which explains why they may not work with LED or fluorescent bulbs. When the product arrived, it stated on the box that it was 120 watts, just like the old heating pad, so that was a good sign. In fact, it does function just like the old pad, pulling 150 watts when on, varying the heat by varying the duty cycle (time on vs off). Even at the highest 120 watt power, it cycles, just with more "on" time than "off". If I lay it on the bed and cover it with a heavy blanket, it does get quite warm on full power, up to at least 140+ degrees, on average. Toasty! For reference, I calculated that I put out 62 watts of body heat when sleeping, so adding up to 120 more watts is like having 2 people my size in bed with me, or about 3 large dogs. So I would be ready for that "Three Dog Night". So this pad provides excellent, well controlled heat over a nice large area and is very soft. The controller works well and allows me to select the run time--some others don't allow for duration selection and just turn off after one or two hours, that wasn't going to work for me. This pad checks all of my boxes, almost. The fact is I want to lay on top of it, which the vendor says will lead to premature failure. I can see how this would be the case, since as you roll around you tend to fold the pad, which is certain to pinch the wires. But I want what I want, so am now experimenting with placing the pad under the sheet, where it seems to remain almost completely flat through the night. Not recommended, but I will see what happens. I am hopeful I will get good service from the pad in this configuration. Another alternative would be to put the pad in some sort of wrinkle resistant outer lining, as the old heating pad has, but I leave that to others to experiment with. I got a second pad for my computer chair, where I spend considerable time, where the folding issue will not be a problem. Note that this product has not been tested and approved by a nationally recognized testing lab (NRTL), such as UL or ETL. The only thing close listed on the box is "CE", which indicates that the manufacturer followed certain safety rules in building the product, but it was never submitted for testing or certification. This is pretty common these days, particularly in Europe and Asia, and on Amazon. Lots of things you can buy these days are not NRTL tested. Given the simplicity of the device, and given that UL certification can be gamed or lied about too, I figured it was not a big problem. If I am wrong, I could get burned or shocked, which I judge to be unlikely. Still, I would have preferred if it was UL or ETL (or others) listed. Minus one star for this. Otherwise, a very nice product.

The BEST heating pad ever
I have chronic pain and have used heating pads for many years for pain relief. This is by far the best heating pad I have ever used. It is soft, pliable and can be wrapped around any part that needs heat. I love the time feature so I can have it on for as long as I need it without having to restart it in 2 hours. The machine washing feature makes this my 5 star heating pad.

Great for temp control
If you need to know the exact temperature of your heating pad this is great. It's also HUGE. For me, I'm 5'9, I can lay down and this goes from my neck to my booty.

Doesn't last long
Heat pad is a great size, but not as soft as others I've had and only worked for three months. The heating element stop working in half the heat pad before the entire thing stopped working too.

Love the size and comfort
As you can see from the pic, I’ve been fighting with that (or it’s ancestors) small heating pad above for many years and the length of this new pad shown under is so comforting and helpful. I’ve had many back surgeries yet I’m active so I want to find things to help my situation, not make them more complicated. No more twisting around (exactly opposite of what I should be doing) to try to get the pad in a good place and to keep it there. Yay!
