This clay is ideal for making flowers
First of all, let me say that I am not a clay expert. I only worked with Fimo clay twice before for a College project. This is the first time I used air dry clay, so I didn't know what to expect. I just saw a video on Youtube that recommended this clay, so I gave it a try because I wanted to make some flowers for Mother's day. I ended up loving it very much, especially for making roses. This clay is not messy at all. It is very light and when it dried up, it left a velvet like touch to it. That's why I said it was perfect for making roses. I used it for making roses and lillies and I love how they look and feel.Yes, it can dry fast, so if you have any leftover clay, just wrap it in cling wrap and put it in an air tight container and it will last longer( so far I only have the leftover in the container for a week and its still very soft, I can't tell how much longer it will last though). Also, I put some baby oil on both my hands before I worked with the clay, so it helped to keep the clay stay soft.If you want to color the clay, just put some acrylic paint in the white clay and mix it good with your hands and you will have the color you want. However, based on my experience, you should only put a very small amount of acrylic paint to the clay at each time you mix it to make sure you don't over do it because if you put too much acrylic paint in the clay, the clay will become very sticky and messy and the texture will not be smooth any more. When I made these pink roses, I had to add the red acrylic paint into the white clay 3 times before I could get the shade you see in the pictures. Also, I noticed that once I put acrylic paint in the clay, the clay tended to dry out even faster, so I had to be very careful and wrapped it well and stored it in air tight container.I love to use this clay for making flowers and I think it is more ideal for making flowers than any other objects because it doesn't show details very well. I was able to use silicone molds to create texture on the petals and veins on the leaves and they turned out fine. However, I think it just worked out nice because the petals and leaves are very thin. If you want to create animals or other sculptures...ect.... I don't think you can do very well with this clay, but Fimo clay will work better in this case.

It is pricey for a small block of clay, but the quality is amazing. And I like the smell. Would definitely recommend

Yuck!
I am sure it's just me - but this is very hard to work with. Super sticky (sticks to your fingers when you try to mold it), and it has a very unpleasant bendable, rubbery texture when dry.I got this to make lightweight jewelry, but it feels like very cheap rubber when it is dry. Yuck. Not good for jewelry, I can say that for certain. It would not hold up to anything. This is my first time with air dry clay, so my fault I suppose - but this is not what I was expecting. I was expecting something that dried with a lot more stability.

IT IS A FINE CLAY-IF YOU REALIZE WHAT IT IS USED FOR AND EDUCATE YOURSELF ON ITS USES
Well first I can say I live in NJ, and this shipped from Hawaii, and it arrived before my books I ordered which I am still waiting for. So it only took 3 days to arrive, I expect it to be a bit of a learning experience to work this clay, unlike another reviewer, I can see that you can make finely detailed flowers with this clay which is was developed for. I don't expect to learn how to do this overnight. I have been watching videos and anything I can on using this clay and it is superior for the use in which it was created, you can tell it's just going to be hard to learn from a book and expect will take me a bit to get the hang of it. The other reviewer also indicated it dries fast, yes you add water to your fingers to work it,and some spread it using plastic sheets with clay in between, some use their palms to make petals, this is how I would like to use it. Just realize this has a specific use and if you are trying other molds etc, yeah you can use it for that but it won't get hard like your polymer clay you are used to, this is the idea, for what it is used for, to look like natural flexible petals. So if you are using a mold might as well go with the other clay unless weight is an issue, but I saw them use molds on Martha Stewart so you can do this if you like. Since the packages are hard to see size online let me say the white is about 6 times the size of a package of fimo etc. And the colors are about 4 times as large as a fimo package. This is light so ounces where hard to figure size when shopping for it. I have also seen a person on youtube using it, she kept the excess in a wet towel so it would not dry out as she was working, be sure to seal in a air tight package or it will dry out.HOPING DECO WILL COME OUT WITH SOME VIDEO INSTRUCTION AS I CANNOT GET ANYWHERE NEAR ANY ONE TEACHING THIS FLOWER MAKING THEY DO SO WELL. HINT HINT

This clay is not for solid base forms, but instead for organic, pliable objects.
This isn't meant for additive sculpting, although detailed work can be done. It's really genuinely meant for something more organic feeling that has a little flex and give. I wouldn't suggest attempting detail work with it, although I know it can do it. It really is meant for things maybe like cloth, although flowers were a good example that everyone keeps giving, I'm trying to branch out and suggest other things that you could maybe use it for. Possibly simulated feathers or something.
