Got this file for my dogs dew claw. He hates it! But we think it's great, files his claw down, we use it every other day.It's easy to use, the right length. Good for the price and reasonable value.

I got this to help keep my dogs nails down, as he gets older and struggles to walk around, his nails grow at a rapid speed. I use this file to keep them at a comfortable length. The file is easy to use and is comfortable to hold.

As our oldest dog was walking less and less his nails began getting too long and I started using the dog nail clippers on him. I'd always used emery boards after clipping, but wanted something a bit more substantial with a handle to it. This file matches the clippers (not that that really matters) has a good handle with a grippy surface and the file itself is curved to the shape of a dog's claw, so less adjusting the angle of the file and quicker filing.I think if your dog's nails have been clipped it would also avoid having to clip if you used it regularly on its own to keep them filed and it's less of a performance - while just filing their nails our dogs lie on their sides up on a grassy bank while I stand on the path with them at waist height and they fall asleep!!

The product seems sturdy enough but as my dog will not let me near her with them, can’t say how good they are

Utterly pointless I didn't expect it tongo smooth after 1 pawnand stopped working because of it. Total waste of my money.
