Purchased the Y25 Rearview Reverse Kit and the Y82 Front Camera. I installed the two wireless cameras (front and back) and connected them to the 12VDC system on the vehicle. I plugged the monitor directly into the cigarette lighter socket and the system was up and running.The 1080p 5" touch-button monitor has a great picture quality with an excellent wide angle view. "Pairing" (front and back cameras operating at the same time) on the split screen enhances the functionality of the unit when parking in tight spaces or running a trailer.Installing the cameras was a breeze. The rear camera should be connected to a reverse-light's wires for best results. The camera itself has LEDs for added lighting.The wireless network is working flawlessly on my older model Tundra and the cameras are durable and waterproof.The complete package is a great value for the money. This is the second Yakry back up camera I have installed. About a year ago I installed a previous version of this camera on my older GM truck. My buddy saw the installation and asked me to set him up. This camera is slightly newer but very similar to the one I installed in my truck. The newer one has a touch screen menu, as opposed to the push buttons on the back of my unit, that you use to set menu options. This new one also has some sort of night visons LEDS which mine doesn’t have.Installation is really easy. I’m no mechanic, but I do have some experience working on cars. But even if you have no experience working on cars, but are even relatively handy, the installation should be no problem. The t-connectors provided (see pic) make it very straight forward. The back-up light wires were very easy to access on both of our trucks. I can’t speak for all makes and models of cars and truck.The rest of the installation is simple. Unbolt your license plate. Slip the camera bracket behind your plate and bolt it back into place.Pick a place inside your cab to mount the monitor, suction cup it in place, then plug in the cigarette lighter (12 volt) socket. They also provide the wires you need to hard wire the monitor if you prefer. If you’re really a nit-picker like me, you can then adjust your guidelines. The onscreen controls of this newer model make that very easy.I’ve included some pics.* I had to see if the night LEDs really worked. The unit I bought last summer does not have the LEDS but the camera works very well in low light so the light from my backup lights is adequate. In order to see just how well the LEDs worked I put the camera in my shed and blocked out the windows. As you can see, not perfect but the nightvision LEDs do light up the total darkness of my shed. This little test also shows how good the signal strength is. As the camea was in my shed, and the truck was facing away from the shed, even so I still had a very strong signal. BTW the “herringbone” effect you're seeing in some the pictures is an artifact of taking a picture of the screen, It is not visible when looking at the screen.Installation of the t-connectors made hook up a snap*The camera installation is very inconspicuous.*Picture quality in daylight is excellent.*Night view with the night vision LEDs and back up lights is GREAT, as you can see the whole area behind the truck is very bright.*Installation in the cab.In summary, just like the one I bought for myself last year, this I a great unit. Simple to install, great performance in both daylight and darkness, and a very fair price.

The media could not be loaded. The backup camera was very easy to install. Just plug in the monitor and connect the camera to a power source. What makes this one nice is that it's a wireless kit. No need to run a wire from the front of the car to the back to get signal. Also the monitor can be moved around the car and doesn't have to remain in one spot. Took 10 minutes to install and worked flawlessly. The screen is lightweight and compact which I like because it doesn't obstruct my view when driving. The screen is a touch screen and is very responsive. I like the features of adjusting the delay and the ability to change the view. The picture quality is good and enables me to see what is behind my car when backing up. This was a good purchase and I have already recommended a few friends to buy it.

Purchased this with some apprehension, but amazed at the easy install, and the quality of the image. Put this on an older F150. Ran the power wire for the camera to the one taillight back up bulb. Worked great. In the instructions, they say you can pick one of three items free, just follow instructions. I did that, quick delivery, great service, great communication. No signal problems for the wireless. Very happy- update 3/30/24: I had the situation recently numerous times where it did not work. Today I thought I would try to pair the two parts together again, but it started working again before I could attempt that. So what was the problem? Do I have a loose connection, is the connection OK and the two are just not communicating together? Time will tell.

Nice safety feature for a 1966 Chevy pickup, my wife even commented that she thought it was a nice new feature. Product was as described easy to install. I think it took 15 minutes total including going through the test procedure before the actual installation. Thanks for a great simple product. The free gift will also come in handy. Thanks very much

I bought this Yakry Wireless Backup Camera 2 weeks ago. It was super easy to install, I hooked up with the reverse light. Great quality video and and the signal is excellent.

This Yakry Wireless Backup Camera system is the most exceptional one I have ever used throughout the years. The monitor provides a crystal-clear view of the surroundings when reversing. The initial unit I received had a defective monitor that failed to properly connect to the camera and didn't allow for adjustment of the various settings. However, upon contacting the manufacturer, they promptly sent me a replacement. Additionally, they included a complimentary gift, and I chose the non-wireless Yakry backup camera system, which arrived within a few days. The replacement unit is performing exceptionally well, and I am extremely satisfied with its performance.One observation I made is that it is best to connect the camera to the backup lights of the vehicle rather than the license plate light. I found that the camera doesn't function well when powered continuously. Once the vehicle is turned off and restarted, it works flawlessly. Therefore, connecting it to the backup lights ensures optimal performance. This was a valuable lesson I learned after initially connecting it to the license plate light, which caused occasional signal loss. After switching the power source to the backup lights, the camera operated without any issues.I must highlight the outstanding post-purchase service provided by the seller. They responded to my concerns within 24 hours and addressed them promptly and effectively. I highly recommend both this backup camera system and the seller. Furthermore, I followed the seller's recommendation and connected a 12-volt DC rectifier to maintain stable voltage for the camera. This proved to be a wise decision. I will definitely consider purchasing from this seller again. I am genuinely delighted with the backup camera system I installed in my 2000 Honda right-hand-drive import van.
