This pump works really well. It is easy to assemble and super easy to use.Mine was not very sturdy though. On my 2nd use it broke where 2 pieces are joined together (by the manufacturer) and I've used water proof tape to seal it. I wasn't rough with it at all and stored it properly.I was hoping for better durability but we will see how long it lasts.

Worked well for one use . Went to do a water change and it won’t turn on now

Decided to upgrade my tradition siphon to something that would make tank maintenance easier. Setup on this was easy and made water changes quicker and easier. Very happy with this.

There are no real instructions with this. Parts easily break. The concept is good, wish there was a larger sponge/filter on the end for the dirty water. And extra hose would be nice to attach to that piece for a bucket as well. Some of the parts do not fit right (or we haven figured out how to use them. Also the gravel gets sucked into the motor piece easily.

Works really well! I’ve had one like this that I really liked but it started not working very well and spitting cloudy water back out. Which is what had happened right before I tried this one. The first photos were after it had been in the water about an hour and the last photo two hours. It’s like perfectly clear now!!! I’m so excited!!!!

After I already purchased I read all different things from other customers that I wish I would have read before buying.. but I didn't even get a chance to try it out but I will say it looks like cheap quality plastic.

Hate to be one of those if I could give it zero stars I would…but it’s honestly applicable for this review. Not sure what this vacuum is actually intended for but it’s not cleaning fish tanks.Maybe if it came with a better user manual that would help.But following logic and a couple quick online tutorials we started using it. After just a few minutes the pump seized up and the entire assembly was rendered useless. Had the first one swapped out which the replacement came really quick. But the 2nd one did the exact same thing.Thankful for a great no hassle return policy because this product is no good, especially at $50 +.Guess it’s back to manual suction basic tank vacuums.

It came with no instructions so it was a little confusing at first. It was cumbersome to use as the power switch is practically located at the end of the cord, and unless you have stretchy Gumby arms, makes water changes awkward as the pump needs to remain submerged the entire time it’s on.
