Best shampoo I've ever used.
I’ve been using this shampoo for almost two months and I can honestly say it’s a great shampoo for many reasons. It works great for my hair; my stylist complimented my hair when I got about 4 inches off a few weeks ago, saying how healthy it looked. This Acure Argan shampoo is the best I’ve ever used because:*It is all natural with none of the chemical junk.*It lathers up well.*It is not runny and you don’t need a lot of it.*It rinses out well and leaves my hair feeling clean.*It makes my hair look and feel healthy (along with the Acure Argan conditioner).*I like the fragrance which reminds me of cherry pie.*The price is very reasonable for an all-natural shampoo.Keep in mind that what works for some may not work for all. My hair is long (down to the middle of my back and was longer a few weeks ago), medium thickness, normal (not dry, not very oily), colored (roots get color frequently), partly wavy and totally frizzy if I don’t straighten it. I have been using the Acure Argan conditioner also. I don’t shampoo every day, just every 2 - 3 days. I always blow dry my hair at least 50% dry, and use the ceramic flat iron at least once a week.I hope this review adds relevant information to inform potential customers so they can choose the best product for their needs. Feel free to ask me any questions about this shampoo.

Smells like a bitter almond seed, will definitely need a good conditioner to pair with
Just used it for the first time. Hair feels very clean, soft, shiny and healthy. It was a little bulky while wet (water doesn't slide off like when you use silicon based shampoos) but then became perfect once done drying. Not 5 stars because of the bitter almond seed smell. Although it doesn't stay when you start lathering it in, it still robs you of some sence of joy that pleasantly smelling prosucts provide. I'll probably try something else once i run out (which shouldn't take too long with only 8oz in a tube). But don't regret buying at all. I'm sure there are plenty of beneficial inbridients that will take a good care of my hair. Thank you Acure for supplying us with great alternatives to chemical filled garbage.

Conflicted...
I'm kind of conflicted on how to rate this item, so I've gone with 3 stars as it balances out my overall dislike of how the product worked for me (1-2 stars) with my overall views of the company and their mission (5 stars). I have been using more natural products in my routine for years and, without a doubt, Acure is one of the (if not THE) most affordable brand. Their products are pretty simple, and nothing on the ingredient list concerns me. I actually really like the smell of this shampoo - almonds. I use about a quarter sized amount of both the shampoo and conditioner when I wash my hair and find that's enough for my thin-medium, wavy, mid-level length hair. I only wash my hair 1-3 times a week, so it has lasted for months, which is great for the bank account. If I use a quarter sized amount of the shampoo, that's usually enough to get some suds going and adequately wash my scalp. However, when I rinse it out, follow up with conditioner, and brush my hair when I get out of the shower, my hair doesn't necessarily look clean. It's definitely better than if I hadn't washed it at all, but, especially if I've used hair spray or various products in the previous days, sometimes there will still be residue left over. So, I suppose it only partially cleans my hair. I will also note that my hair does seem dry (especially the ends, and I eliminated using shampoo there and that didn't help).I definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend Acure because they are incredibly affordable and I have liked other products by them. Their shampoo and conditioners are not unreasonably priced and, if you have shorter hair or don't use a ton of products, this might work perfectly for you. Unfortunately, I think it hasn't done the job well enough for me. I'm going to pass it along to my husband as he keeps his hair very short and doesn't use any products.

Great, affordable natural shampoo!
I have been using Acure brand products for several months now. I first bought this shampoo and conditioner after reading a list of best "natural" hair products. This brand (after hours of research) is one of the best natural lines that is highly accessible (have bought on Amazon, at Target, Sprouts) and at a great affordable price. It lathers great for a sulfate-free and leaves my oily hair clean and shiny. The smell is wonderful! I feel so much better about not putting tons of harsh chemicals on my hair and body with this brand! Also, the packaging is recyclable. If you're looking for a great hydrating shampoo that smells wonderful and is better for you and the environment, try this one!
