Product Description Designed to supply bus-powered USB DACs with power from a separate USB power source, such as a 5V USB phone charger, car 5V USB supply or in-seat 5V USB power on coaches trains and planes. Uses include: possible sound quality improvements by using a non-bus power supply; battery conservation when the USB audio source uses batteries; or to guard against blue-screen events if the USB DAC draws too much current. The Lautus USB Power Wire has two type-A plugs: one for USB data; the other for USB power; and the other end, a printer style type B plug to suit a number of USB audio DACs including the Bitzie USB DAC.
