Peugeot Daman uselect Pepper Mill and Salt Mill Set 21 cm

Quality product had mine a number of years now no problems work like new. Metal grinders.

The grinders look great, the pepper grinder works well, However, the salt grinder does not work well, tried different size salt crystals but virtually nothing comes out other than the odd grain whatever coarseness the grinder is set on. We have tried emptying the salt crystals out and washed it and dryed it carefully, Is there a specific salt size we have to use or can anyone tell me why it wont work? Refund please!

Superior grinding and 3 settings, wish I had bought these years ago. An major plus is the brushed steel hasn't marked with fingerprints, which I expected.

It does feel like the Roles Royce of the salt and pepper mills, very good quality. :-)

Salter stop milling after 2 years of really light use

Very stylish with the top quality mechanism you expect from Peugeot.

We bought a set of these about 2 years ago, they are a premium product made by the french company Peugeot, the same group who make cars, bike scooters etc. I think they have been making mills for over a century, so a long tradition. We bought from a shop in France where they are sold with a lifetime guarantee, I don't think you get this in the UK. We love the simple magnetic top that allows easy filling of both salt & pepper, the adjustment is easy from fine to coarse, they are in daily usage and show no signs of wear at all so far. They just work and look great. Tip match the crystal size of the salt that comes with the mill as some salt crystals don't work well with it. Both the grinder mechanisms are made from stainless steel, they are completely different in design when viewed from underneath, so look to be engineered to do their specific job and not interchangeable. Perhaps this is where other mills compromise?They do leave tiny bits of salt where they stand, but we couldn't care less as they work so well, if they keep going for many more years the price will be well worth it.
