Sun Mountain2024 Maverick Golf Cart Bag

This was purchased as a gift for my husband. He loves it! It's really well made, stands up fully loaded and doesn't wobble. It keeps his clubs from bouncing off of each other and has a bunch of extra storage pockets for balls, markers, snacks and whatever else he feels like taking to the course. It's not heavy on it's own or when fully loaded so it isn't a pain to pull around or get up on the cart if I decide to borrow it. Such a great bag and the price was perfect.

I play golf four times a week so I know what I like. This sun Mountain bag is great! The individual club dividers, the storage pockets, the zippers...all quality! I love the bag.

The bag is well made and light relatively. The separated club sleeves are excellent, and the main reason I bought it along with the weight being low. I was tired of my clubs getting stuck together when pulling them out, plus should help grip wear. The problem is the putter well, it has a sharp square edge on the lower side so when you pull your putter out it catches, and if you're not careful it starts to take chunks out of your putter grip. Mine is a Superstroke 2", I have to carefully get past the sharp edge. I put duct tape over it which helped a little. I've called the company and they said they are aware of the problem and will try to address it in future models, but not the next models as they're already done, maybe 2026 or 27 model will address this issue.

Great golf bag. Could have been a little bigger. Space between clubs a little tight.

Was looking at either the Sun Mountain Maverick or C-130 models. Chose the Maverick and am not disappointed. Lightweight with adequate storage in a less bulky bag.

I agree with past reviews and would like to add my 2 cents. A past review stated that the front pocket for the putter is not made for larger putter grips and if not careful the upper edge of the grip gets caught by the plastic front or back edge of the pocket when removing the putter causing eventual damage to the putter. I know this from having a similar experience with a previous bag. A previous review stated they applied duct tape to hopefully prevent that from happening but I'm thinking for the price this should not be an issue not to mention tacky looking. I'll give it some time and then reevaluate.
