It was then that I noticed his journal was the most exquisite item of its kind I had ever beheld. It was clad with rich and supple leather and as I watched him caressing the pages with his pen I asked him where I might procure such a wondrous treasure.He looked up, surprised to find me still standing before him and he uttered one single word. , he said. Fantastic! I said to him, another journey to an exotic land in search of this remarkable prize. No! he exclaimed, .com! And his face lit up with a mighty grin…

Purchased as a gift
Bought this as a gift for my owl loving pagan girlfriend's Valentines day present... She loved it.. it came in good condition, great shipping time. The paper is a little thin but stands up to most pens (moderate ghosting with fountain pens) The owl and clasp seem to be securely attached. the clasp works smoothly. She says it is so nice that she is afraid to write in it until she improves her hand writing..

Very well made.
I could tell the moment I removed the packaging for this journal that it was very high in quality. The leather is soft to the touch, but very sturdy as well. The owl charm was even nicer looking than in the photo, and the attention to detail is astonishing. I'm definitely buying another journal from them when I run out of pages in this one. I love it!

The cover and lock are beautiful. Wish the paper inside was a bit heavier weight. Description states the pages are "parchment" colored. The pages were (at least in the one I received) peach color, not off white or yellowed as something old would be. I gave it as a gift and the person I gave it to loved it.

I could not be more happy with this journal!! I just opened grabbed it out of my mailbox and it was adorable. Essentially giftwrapped right out of the gate and everything else is just spot on. Exactly what I was looking for. I was kicking myself for spending $40 on a journal, but it is absolutely worth every penny. Medieval fairs sell products with half the quality for twice that price. So if you’re on the fence, don’t think, buy it. Just do it. Now excuse me while I continue to shove this thing in my face, because the smell is incredible. 10 out of 5 stars!!

I absoloutley love this journal! It has such a beautiful cover and design. It makes the perfect gift for a special someone with a creative mind. The journal is high quality and sturdy. The pages are perfect for sketching and the cover will not close on you while sketching or writing as most journals do. The pages are soft and a nice cream color which adds to the journals vintage feel. Overall this journal is amazing and I love it!

Good journal for gifting
Got the journal for my wife for Christmas, she loves it. The emblem is very creative (masque and mime), the leather is supple and feels very high quality, and the paper is silky smooth to the touch. The clasp functioned well and is sturdy and smooth functioning. Very nice journal, perfect for gifting for the writer in your life.
