I think it is nice and relaxing as you are sitting at home and listening to the thunder and lightning sounds and the heavy rain if you are looking for a relaxing night this is one for you

I suffer with Tinnitus and therefore do not like to be in a completely silent house. I also have hearing difficulties, as I only hear middle register sounds, neither high frequency nor low frequency sounds register in my ears. ....I know! I sound like a poor old crone who's falling apart!!I assure you that this is not true, I have always had these problems since I was a child but they do get worse as I age. Music is my natural standby to create a background sound and block out the Tinnitus, but sometimes that can grate on my eardrums and irritate my mind.While communicating with the gentleman who sells these CD's, I wondered if perhaps my favourite sounds of weather and / or water would help me. He very generously recommended two discs for a trial in return for my offering an honest, unbiased and perhaps informative review.I cannot explain to you how grateful I am for this recommendation.The discs arrived yesterday in my mail and I played each of them in the evening while I read a great book. The utter feeling of relaxation was instant and amazing ! No sharp, ear-shattering sounds, no discordant notes to irritate, simply wonderful sounds of Ma Nature soothing my mind and my soul ! I understand that some people listen to them to induce sleep, I don't think that that would work for me, as the sounds are too fascinating. The storm and rain sounds make me want to get up and look out of my window to watch natures antics as I have always loved rain and thunderstorms especially. Instead, I pictured the sight in my mind and I was one with the sound and with nature as they say! Of course we all have our own personal associations to sounds so they affect us all in differing ways therefore I can see where they may induce sheer relaxation and ultimately sleep for many others.I will forever be grateful to Alan from 'Here to Listen' for this wonderful relief from hearing stress and the calm that this CD has brought into my life. I have been listening to the two discs again this morning as I work and they have completely soothed my head, keeping me relaxed, whilst also negating the noise of my Tinnitus. I can highly recommend this CD and if you suffer from any problems such as mine, I urge you to purchase this wonderful disc to improve your life. You will not regret it and will bless the day that you read this review, I promise !

Nice enough rain sounds but thunder is too louder and too much for me. Others may like ?

I really love this, but the wind section has to be turned up very loud & then the thunderstorm & rain is way too loud. Such a pity as this is a great cd for relaxation

Fantastic cd, one off the best iv had yet , beautiful natural sounds of wind , thunder and rain without any music in the background, brilliant

Very poor quality reproduction, tried it on two good quality hi-fi's, the volume needed to be ridiculously high to even hear anything, and what came out was just mushI had to give it one star to write a review, also a sticker saying no returns of you open the case which tears the sticker, so you can't try it!

I'm delighted with this product. The sound quality is excellent. I've been using it for several weeks now and find that listening to the natural sounds of rain, wind and thunder sends me off to sleep every time. It's a very effective method to help relax, unwind and induce sleep.

Registrazioni piu' che discrete : La pioggia e il vento sono incantevoli , il tuono è molto buono ma talvolta "spara" troppo. Nel complesso il tutto è ben registrato. Non mi ha convinto la confezione del prodotto, per questo motivo le 3 stelle.Imballo e spedizione, così così - da migliorare.
