Great tea
Used to make some chai mix which my wife loves.

Good tea, quite a luxury
It is interesting to see on opening the packet that this tea is a blend of several different colours of leaf, made obvious by the large size of the leaves themselves. Being first flush tea, it is likely this is down to slightly different stages of maturation between the individual plants, but either way it achieves the desired effect. The flavour of the tea itself is pretty much as described on the pack: delicate, grassy but with pleasant extra notes (I'd say just generally 'fresh' rather than 'fruity' myself, but mileage can of course vary in matters of taste). It's difficult to over-brew, which can certainly be handy with other things, and is light and pleasant enough to enjoy without any accompaniment (which is the point of such high-quality tea as I understand it). It falls into that common situation with dried herbs/spices etc. of seeming to be quite expensive for a mere hundred grams, but given how many servings that weight actually affords this is really quite value for the pack. Recommended for tea lovers looking for something especially nice for themselves, or would make a good gift.

A reasonably tasting loose Darjeeling black tea.
This loose-leaf Darjeeling tea comes in a resealable 100g pouch with brewing instructions on the packet. My tea came with a 12-month best-before date, so I don't have to consume it all straight away.I'm a big fan of tea and enjoy trying different teas and infusions, and I'm a particular Darjeeling fan. I always like to have a good selection of teas in the home for unexpected guests and myself. This loose-leaf Darjeeling black tea looks and smells fresh, is simple to brew and comes in a reasonable quantity of 100g. To make for one person, throw 1-2 teaspoons of the leaves into a cup, infuser, or strainer, pour over hot water and leave to brew for 2-3 minutes. It's a reasonably dark tea, smells nice and tastes gently earthy with a lightly fruity aroma. There is a slight bitterness to it, and I've had better Darjeeling teas, but it is palatable and very drinkable, and I would consider purchasing.

Dusty residue, broken leaves, stale aroma. How old is this tea?
If you steep it for 5+ minutes you can get some sort of flavour out of it but this is inferior to any unclassified loose leaves at a much higher price. It may be at the cheap end for FTGFOP but BOP would be more accurate

Rather disappointing
Rather disappointed with this. Looks ok, leaves not dust, but the tea lacks flavour, it's bland. No complaints about the delivery etc but I won't be buying this again.

A Tea Connoisseur's Delight
I recently indulged in the Darjeeling Teesta Valley Premium First Flush FTGFOP1 Black Loose Leaf Tea, and it truly exemplifies the epitome of fine tea craftsmanship. This exquisite blend, packed in a 100g package, offers a transcendent tea-drinking experience that is unparalleled. The first flush leaves, plucked at the peak of freshness, impart a delicate and complex flavor profile, showcasing floral notes with a hint of muscatel sweetness. The tea liquor is bright and golden, a visual treat that complements its aromatic bouquet. What sets this Darjeeling tea apart is its FTGFOP1 (Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1) grade, denoting the highest quality of tea leaves. The premium loose leaf form ensures that the tea leaves unfurl beautifully during steeping, releasing their full flavor potential. Whether enjoyed hot or iced, this tea delivers a refined, refreshing, and invigorating taste that lingers on the palate. The Teesta Valley estate's dedication to quality shines through in every sip, making it a must-try for tea enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike. More tea please
Although I have been a tea drinker all my life I've never been adventurous. Good quality regular tea bags are all I've ever wanted. On odd occasions, when served more exotic teas, I have been a polite guest and managed to empty a cup of Earl Grey, Jasmine or Lapsang Souchong. But I've never thought, "Delicious. I'd like to try that again."My wife is far more adventurous in the drinks arena than I am so I decided to try to impress her with a pack of Darjeeling Teesta Valley Premium First Flush. She loved the resealable pouch, the appearance of the dry tea and its aroma. And, having brewed a cup following the instructions on the pack, she enjoyed the taste. No surprise there, then. The big surprise was that she made a cup for me and I loved it. I really think this is the best tea I've ever had, so much so that I'm demanding a cup of Teesta Valley every afternoon at 3.(Review completed at 3:15pm. Are two cups allowed?)

Very tasty Darjeeling loose leaf black tea.
Positives:-Eco-friendly recyclable pack, which is resealable (grip-seal).Very flavoursome.Made from leaves of first flush harvest.Brewing instructions printed on pack’s label.Negatives:-None, at the time of writing this review.Observations:-Came in a recyclable, resealable (grip-seal) pack.Conclusion:-Strong black coffee, without sugar, made from freshly ground coffee beans is my favourite hot drink.I have drunk tea occasionally, never with milk or sugar added, and, until recently only herbal tea in tea bags. Then about 6 weeks ago I acquired a tea filter, and have been trying some loose leaf teas in an attempt to reduce my coffee intake. This Darjeeling Teesta Valley First Flush Loose Leaf Black Tea is one of my favourites so far, and, at the time of writing this review, is, IMO, very reasonably priced for a 100g pack.
