I was not sure how much I would be able to use these baskets when I first purchased them, but they have quickly become one of my essential cooking tools for BBQ meals! They hold a large variety of foods for cooking on the grill--preventing food from sticking to the grill or falling through to the flames. Their design allows for easy rotation without mess, and I found they clean up very easily! I am so glad I purchased these for my BBQ cooking collection.

Baught as a holiday gift for my son-in-law..wanted baskets for awhile...loved all the extras that came with it...used for New years he made a grilled vegetable salad...worked great

This was purchased for a white elephant gift exchange since I wanted to find something useful. It was actually “stolen” during the game so I considered that a successful gift purchase. I can’t rate for the ease of use since I haven’t used it but I know the man who ended up with this gift was very excited about it.

The set I bought are for a gift, but just from looking them over when they arrived, the quality seems much better than I expected

This grill basket kit has been great! It comes with a couple of stainless steel baskets (one large and one small) with twist lock lids, a couple of hooks for turning, grilling guide with several recipes and a wellness guide, meat smoking guide which has been invaluable with our pelt smoker, 4 brushes for seasoning, a pretty decent quality sprayer to prevent your roast (or brisket) from drying out, and finally a thermometer with a decent long probe which works great.I’ve used these baskets when cooking fixing for kebabs and for roasting vegetables and haven’t really had any issues with them. The hooks make it super easy to rotate them for the right doneness. The only complaint that I have is that the stainless-steel frame is a little flimsy around the lid, so it’s possible to overturn the lid when trying to lock it in place. I'm not cranking it on there, but it would be nice for it to have a bit more of a dip or bump built in that would prevent it from going too far and bending. It doesn’t cause any damage, just frustration when you go too far and have to remove and try to close it again. Otherwise, no other issues and has been great to use. Added plus that it’s dishwasher safe.

I love kebabs but find it tedious to skewer them, and due to the way the pieces are pressed near each other, there's always parts that don't get the tasty grill flame. I saw these grilling baskets and figured it was worth a shot even if they looked like a pain to clean. This actually comes with two baskets, one slightly larger than the other-- I assume so you can do both meat and veggies at the same time, but I wanted to make sure they had plenty of room to roll around inside and cook, so my veggies got put into both.The actual rotation is very simple with the provided hooks. The onions may look a little overdone but they came out deliciously caramelized far more than they ever get on a kebab skewer, and without the sliminess you get from sauteeing them. The basket worked exactly as I hoped. Some similar baskets I saw had problems with the hinged lid popping open, which is why I went with this one-- the lid has a little twist-lock bump to hold it in place. There were no issues with that except that it's fairly easy to "over-tighten" it past the intended locked position, which didn't seem to be a problem immediately but may with time make it less secure.Now, cleaning. That was the part I was dreading when I selected this but it actually wasn't much of a problem at all outside of the standard discoloration one expects from metal and oils on a grill. I used a bottle brush and the bristles cleaned the grate easily. There was no char or gunk stuck on after a simple wash and that makes me much more likely to use this again.The accessories included are a nice but largely unnecessary touch. I'm not sure how often I'll use the basting brushes and I already have a meat thermometer, but the spritzer is something I can definitely find a purpose for as well as the little pokers. For someone who is just starting out grilling, they'd get even more value from this product than I did. If you like grilled veggies with a kiss of flame, these baskets do the trick.
