End of school year trophies
Overall, this product did exactly what I needed to.Had trophies made and needed a name plate. After searching I settled on these. They DO bend and warp a bit when laser engraving, but were easily flattened back out.Only had to do 1 run for the design to show up in the material. Using an x tool m1

Excellent
Used with CO2 laser to create award plaques. Excellent product. Very sturdy

Not great for X-tool D1 10W - Okay for scoring, bad for raster
Deforms under heat, causing issues. You can get away with a decent scoring job but will still deform. I've tried a dozen and a half iterations for raster and they all are unacceptable. In short, the result is inconsistent, mostly from the metal deforming which changes how the laser etches. I'm not running an air pump so perhaps that would help. They look nice and would likely be great for mechanical engraving.

Perfect!!! Using Xtool D1 pro 10 watt
I’ve tried a competitors nameplates that look identical to these in photos but they are vastly different. The other ones were super thin like aluminum. The silver ones required the use of a black laser marking spray to engrave (which is $23 for an 2oz bottle). These however are thicker and heavier so they feel like better quality, and the silver ones engrave perfectly without the need for spray which is a big plus! (The photo I posted was after I wiped it down with alcohol so that black is there to stay!) They do warp a little like others have said but it’s easy to bend them back straight afterwards. I’m sure there are tricks for avoiding that.

Hit or miss mostly miss.
I have a 20w fiber laser. I did the gold one and I thought wow, this turned out great. It was black. Several hours later, I went to do another gold one, same settings everything and it barely left a mark. So I ran it a few times, could not get it to mark, even moving my laser closer to the engraving surface. Then I noticed, the one I did earlier, looked like it rusted, when I had it perfectly black. So then I tried the black one, kept getting a rainbow color, so upon suggestions in a laser group, I moved the laser up out of focus a few mm and increased speed, then I got a black one that went from copper colored to pink, ran it a few times and always the samething. Now the silver ones where the best. I personally wouldn't buy these again. My settings for the silver ones with a 20w commarker was 2000 speed/100 power/45freq and defocus( laser up 3mm) with a hatch of .004mmRun 2 timesFor white on the black(which took forever)Same as silver settings except a hatch of .001 ran 2 times. But let cool down.I do have to say that these settings are still not consistent with each plate.

Too firm
Like an old man who is set in his ways, these plates are not very impressionable. Doesn’t work with Cricut. At least it didn’t with the engraving adapter I had

Engrave well, adhesive on the back is weak.
Titles pretty much sums up the review. These laser engrave really well but the adhesive on the back is terrible. Some plates came slightly warped, making adhesion even worse.

El acabado del corte le resta calidad al producto.
El terminado es algo rústico y filoso, se agradece el pegamento.

Not what is described
There is no brass to be found on this product, not even brass plate. Certainly not "solid brass" as stated in the header, and not "stainless steel" as stated in the description. The base material is aluminium as it is easy to file as shown in the photo. You can also see where I scratched the surface to see if there was brass plate under the "coating" I am not sure what the coating is but it is not an anodized surface as that would result in white letters. The numbers you see (if you look closely) were the seeped/power% I used using a 22 watt diode laser. I am not sure what sort of laser these would work with but mine warped the plate. I suppose if they cannot write a grammatically correct description...the accuracy is bound to be suspect.

Wrong description
I bought this product for sublimation as described but it doesn't work for sublimation.
