We include precision syringe tips that keep an airtight seal and allows for easy dental tray filing. We recommend using all product within 6 months. They store up to 18 months if kept sealed and refrigerated. There is a relationship between the whitening process speed (application time) and tooth sensitivity / gum tissue irritation. The stronger strength gels allow for shorter application time (faster) but also increases the risk of temporary sensitivity. The whitening results are the same regardless of the strength used when application times/frequency are adjusted. Example 30 minutes at 16% is the same as 8% for 60 minutes as far as results. Change the 8% frequency to twice a day for 30 minutes and again you have the same whitening results. It is normally a very unstable natural chemical that immediately breaks down when it comes into contact with heat, air, light and water (saliva). It is difficult and expensive to produce and why most of our competitors offer you carbamide peroxide. The advantage of using a DentOgel Bleaching product is that it starts dislodging stains upon contact.
