I wanted to start this review off by talking about the good parts. The device works well at removing cat hairs off of my bed. I was able to use it to clean my bed off many times and after opening the back hatch to the unit, there was a large clump of hair. The unit will switch direction of the brush depending on which direction you are sweeping. This allows the brush, depending on which way you are sweeping, it pick up hairs better. I find this amazing because I have three cats, all three are long hair cats, that I've adopted over the years. I love each one of them equally and want them to be comfortable, that's why I let them sleep on the bed whenever they want. So far, every time I've used this unit, it's not disappointed.Now, to talk about the negative aspect of the device. While holding the device, the normal position I hold something like this is by the handle with my thumb at the top of the handle. The button for the device is at the top of the handle. this causes the unit to pop open when cleaning the bed. This make the process annoying. I had to learn to hold the handle a specific way, which was a bit uncomfortable. The second issue, after a few uses, the bristle started to come off. Bald spots could be seen on both sides of the brush(s) after a few uses. Over time, the device will need to be swapped out from what I'm noticing from my testing.Overall, I still want to give this item four-stars. It works well to pick up cat hairs, but keep in mind, from what I can tell, it will need to be swapped out over time, but I feel like it should last a few months. Again, milage will vary considering how much it is used. Thank you for a great product!

I found this to work decently, but also found it difficult to clean. It seems to pick up most everything off of our couch. We mostly deal with pet hair from our cat so we were looking for a quick way to wipe things down without having to drag out the vacuum. This product works, but you might want to look elsewhere if you don't want to spend a lot of time cleaning the cleaner (remover).

When you look at the SCOOLUX Pet Hair Remover, you will see a surface that is likely to be very familiar to you, as a lint remover. The brush surface has little tiny “hooks” on it allowing it to grab hair, link, and other small particles efficiently, then requiring the user to brush the opposite direction on a different non-clingy surface to release the accumulated debris. If you accidently do this to the surface you’re cleaning, then you deposit this debris on that surface. This is where the SCOOLUX is different.Looking at the brush side of this hair remover, what looks like a roller is in reality a piece that rocks and changes position in the handle. Pulling or pushing it will automatically rotate the brush face to orient it so the surface is in the correct direction to pick up the debris from your surfaces. As you push or pull it in the opposite direction, it will auto rotate again to enable the pickup of hair and lint. Each time it changes direction it will release the previous debris pickup into a chamber in the plastic handle. A button on the handle opens this chamber to allow easy dumping of the collected debris into a suitable container. No extra effort on your part to brush the correct direction or remove the hair and lint, it’s all done for you. An excellent way to clean things up.

At first I thought this didn’t work at all (trying to clean up after my pit bull - short course hair). And then tried it on my golden retrievers hair and it worked better - not perfect but good for a quick clean (that is if no white stray hairs from my pit are lingering near by)

You not only effectively pulls stubborn hair off of fabric but it has a clever way of removing the hair from the brush after you use the brush head to scrape the fabric. You simply rotate the brush and it will pull the hair up into a compartment above the brush which you can open and dispose of without any trouble. You do not have to try and pick it out of the brush piece by piece as when rotated up to the top compartment it helps pull the hair out in such a way that is easier to get out. Very clever and useful and, even works on fairly fine or fluffy undercoat hair

Instructions say to roll the product back and forth to pick up hair, but product DOES NOT ROLL!

I love that this product is very light you don't have to push to hard you do not have to worry about charging it since its Manuel and you can carry it anywhere you go. it does a wonderful job I don't have no more cat hair on my furniture.

I recently ordered the SCOOLUX Pet Hair Remover to try to keep up with the shedding talents of four house cats. It took minutes to discover that 1) the cat hair we've been living with on carpets and furniture was a bigger problem than we could have known, and 2) that this little tool is the perfect solution. Not only does it pull the hair out of the fabrics' textures very effectively, but the ability to easily gather it up from the integral little chamber for quick disposal is a game changer! Love this thing and highly recommend it.
