I bought this expecting it to be a full shimmer top coat for my base shadow. It does not pop. It is pretty for what it is but does not glit as advertised

This pallet for eyeshadow is awful. Now, that aside, it does work for a topper and to blend two colors together. It also works rather well as a highlighting pallet. I wanted a neutral day last week and this just wouldn't show up as I wanted, so I used it as a top over a base and for highlight and it worked better. Now, the fall out is horrible! Absolutely terrible. It had a lot to fall out but when I tapped it gently a couple of times over the pallet almost everything fell off the brush. So, I sprayed a little setting spray on a highlighter brush and it grabbed the colors better. It was a subtle highlight, but at the right angle it was there. It looked pretty!Overall, ZERO stars for eyeshadow! 3 stars for a topper. 3.5 for highlight. The formula absolutely needs to be better to fix the pigment. The fall out needs fixed too, which comes down to the formula as well. It's cheaply made and honestly belongs in a dollar store for less than $3! I'll use it for a highlight if I run low on my favorite. I might use it as a topper, if it will stay on long enough. The included brush belongs in the trash! No one uses the old eyeshadow sponge stick thing and the other end of the brush looks like a lip brush. Both ends are awful. It belongs in the trash, to be honest. I don't recommend this pallet and wouldn't order again.

I love that this eyeshadow palette is both glittery and neutral at the same time; the colors add a glammed-up, fairy-like feel to my makeup, without being too over-the-top. The colors go on well with the brush or my fingers, and stay on well, although the shimmer tends to migrate over the course of a day, and winds up on my cheeks, too. I do need to use a primer with these shadows, or I've found that they settle in my eyelid creases otherwise, as these are powder shadows and not cream.
