**Update** Unfortunately this unit must be faulty, after doing the review, upon restarting, it then failed to boot and needed resetting. Happened twice, so returned due to fault. Shame as its a nice tablet.Ordered this tablet to replace an ipad that wont update, and this was in the price bracket that i could afford. Very good quality packaging, and on unboxing, the tablet looks very well made. Charge was already at 97% when i plugged in, which meant i could start the setup process straight way, which was good.Had no problem connecting to wifi and the setup process ran through with no problems at all. Google play store runs fine and all apps on the tablet updated no problem, before i added my personal ones. Having not seen a device with android 13 before (my phone is 12) i thought the icons were a tad large, but this version of android had settings which i lowered, and all looked very good. The screen resolution looked fine after this, as can be seen in the pic, was very clear. Overall, very good value for what i paid, 64GB storage fine for me, and the tablet was very responsive, as you would expect.... Happy Customer.

The unit arrived well-packed and presented all seemed good until I started the initial setup. Everything was slow and the touchscreen text would not lock to Uppercase when "double-tapped". I persevered and eventually got the initial setup done. my tablet would not initially find my WiFi network I knew it was OK as I have an old Toscido Tablet, reliable but a little slow, that logged on with no problem. I rebooted the tablet and this time it found the WiFi, not a good start! I used my Google account to synchronize all apps and all seemed OK. I then tried to download from the Apps Store a Tesla App for my Powerwall 2 battery, this app I must add works fine on my older Toscido Android Tablet. The new tablet would not load the app. I switched off the Tablet as I had had enough playing around with it for the time being. On attempting to restart it the following day it would not boot up. factory default reset time! The first attempt reported Android system was unable to load and suggested another factory reset, at this point, I decided that the device was just not reliable and returned it. Pity as the price was good, it was well presented and looked and felt well made.

I actually liked the tablet its a nice size with a decent screen. It was all going nicely until after charging it one evening, I didn't use it until the following evening. It wouldn't turn on because the battery had drained. Tried it again the next day with the same results. I contacted the supplier who after a bit of back and forth via email, agreed to replace it. They also offered to cover my postage costs. Liz in support was very helpful. My new tablet has now arrived, and is working well with no battery issues.So, there you go Liz check out the 5 stars above !

Battery runs down quite fast if left on standby, if you shut it right down it takes ages to start up again, slow to react to anything, makes an expensive powered speaker make random popping noises when plugged in to play music from, not terrible for the money I suppose but it is cheap and you get what you pay for. Crap really.

A really good quality tablet, reasonably priced. We bought two at Christmas- one for each of our children. Very easy to set up and use, sturdy and good value. Had an issue with one, but contacted the seller who got in touch quickly and replaced. Good customer service and communication which was appreciated.

*** Unfortunately a couple a days ago the replacement tablet has now also broken. Won't work at all on the internet and has crashed requiring a factory reset like the first tablet. I will email the manufacturer about this. My little girl is gutted as this was a birthday present. I now have two broken tablets sat on the side.*** Product replaced promptly and without problems! I have set up the new tablet and it works perfectly ! Many thanks for your help sorting this out. ***I ordered this just over a month ago for my daughters birthday on the 1st December. It initially seemed be ok on day 1. It turned on and looked in working order. I set up the tablet but it won't connect to the internet and is now coming up with a system error message saying corrupt and needing system reset.

I took a chance and ordered a new tablet from an unknown manufacturer (or at least unknown to me) to replace my aging Amazon Fire tablet. (When Amazon recently stopped supporting the Amazon app for the the old Fire OS version, I figured it was time to buy a new tablet.) I read a number of reviews first so I wasn't totally in the dark as far as what I should expect. When I received the Blackview Tab 12 it was actually better than I had expected. It was half the price of the well known brands and came with as much or more RAM and an octa-core processor. It is very well made with an impressive metal body. The screen is excellent and just as good as the Fire screen I was used to. And there was very little bloatware preinstalled so it didn't take long to get it up and running.Because I wanted to be able to work on the tablet as I had done in the past on my HP laptop, I ordered a Bluetooth keyboard and a case that would support the tablet upright. I have no doubt that the Tab 12 will work as I had hoped for. And with MS Office being available as an Android app I will get a lot of work done now with a much lighter device to carry around.So far I am very happy with my decision to buy the Blackview Tab 12 tablet and the only thing I foresee changing that is the future US release of the Blackview Tab 13 tablet, which I read about and began to covet right away. That will be my late 2023 or early 2024 upgrade.On the downside, the only thing that I have an issue with so far is that it takes a little longer to charge the larger battery, but the battery seems to run down a little faster than my Fire tablet does. But then the Tab 12 is a beefier tablet so it logically takes more energy to run it. And it IS noticeably beefier in its processing and fast response time.I would recommend the Tab 12 to anyone who is looking for a very good deal on an excellent tablet. As long as it lasts for a reasonable amount of time I will be very satisfied with my purchase (until the Tab 13 comes out).

I ordered this formy daughter as a X-mas present, it worked finde when I first checked it and set it up. Unfortunately when my daughter unwrapped it, it would not turn on or charge up at all. Tried to get in touch with Blackwell, no answer over the past 2 weeks. Returned through amazon and ordered a new one, which works - unfortunately the screen protector came damaged. Amazon can't replace it, so have to buy it extra. Kinda sucks, but I really don't want to return the tablet again.

Compré esta Tablet para su uso en el entorno escolar, específicamente con niños de educación primaria. Es una Tablet muy barata pero que funciona muy muy bien. Además, tiene una batería de larga duración que me permite utilizarla durante varios días sin necesidad de recargarla. Su tamaño es relativamente pequeño que hace que tenga un bajo peso y su transporte sea muy cómodo. Ideal para utilizarla en el cole!!
