The Dragon King: 3 (Dragonspeaker Chronicles) Paperback – 6 Dec. 2018

What started as a free read, ended up as me buying the series, I couldn't stop reading it.

This has been a great trilogy to read, and it is nicely rounded up in this book. There is a good story, but the part I liked most was the characterisation - Nellie is great, and, as I said in my review of the first book, what a lovely change to have a middle-aged woman being the main character. In fact, there are quite a few women of that type, and the best ones were those who had had enough of being told what to do by men, and were trying to do what was best for them.There were also other great characters, and one of the best dragons I have read about for a long time. Loved the carrots!If you want your fantasy just a little bit different to the plethora of fantasy-with-dragons books around, then do try this. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
