Safety Helmet for Construction Vented Hard Hat with Chin Strap ANSI Z89.1 Approved 6 pt Adjustable Suspension Construction Helmet for Men Women

I'm the type of person who will do a job with little to no safety gear. As I'm getting older, less agile and a parent, I've started taking safety a little more seriously. I've had several close calls with limbing trees. I've had stuff from trees fall off and get into my eyes. When I saw this helmet, I thought this would be perfect for me. It offers both head and eye protection. It fits me well. It seems durable and doesn't look all that bad. It's relatively comfortable. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Fits good, feels good, and protects my head. It's sturdy and hasn't fallen apart since I got it.

This construction helmet feels strong and well-made. The straps are adjustable for best fit and there is a turn-knob on the back to tighten as needed. The visor provides good eye-protection any time.

The helmet seems well built. It is strong and comfortable. The straps on the unit are soft and not itchy. It does not have any smell. It fit well on my head and did not shift around. The helmet came with reflective safety stickers and a bag for keeping it stored. It seemed like there was a good gap between the top of the helmet and the inner liner. I would say that feature and the holes make it more breathable. The shell of the helmet seems hard and has the right amount of thickness and weight to it. This helmet would keep your head safe. The paper work said this helmet conforms to ANSI Z89.1-2014 ( standards ). It said it offers protection for falling objects and consequential brain injury and skull fracture. That is the helmets intended use.

EDIT: To clarify, this helmet DOES NOT come with earmuffs or a visor as stated in the description. I was confused by this when ordering as the title and the text were contradictory. I filed a notice about this to Amazon, but haven't heard anything and ad is still the same. Overall this is a nice helmet. I did attempt to lower the ride height of the rigging and it did let it sit a bit lower on my head. This was done via a YouTube video as the instructions say it can be done , but sketchy as to how. I find I need to get used to these riding higher on your head than a traditional hard hat. The vents are a nice touch as these can be hot at times, but on mine one side stays up and the other does not. Even the one that does stay up, it's only on a prayer. The slide and lock of the vent door is poorly designed. I'd say this helmet would protect your head , but I don't like the misleading advertising, for that I DO NOT RECCOMEND.
