Simple kit for a rainy weekend build
A good simple Airfix kit that is more simple to build than the 109E-3 in their Starter Set (but you would need to buy glue and paints in addition to this kit). I really enjoyed putting it together, and it has the alternative Swiss airforce scheme too which makes for a nice change. The three sprues are of good quality; a little bit of flash on a couple of parts, but otherwise plenty of detail and recessed panel lines. There is minimal cockpit - just a seat and pilot; I did make up a plate for the area behind the pilot's seat to avoid being able to see down the fuselage. The fit was good, with a little bit of juggling needed for the wings, and to get the closed wheel parts to fit in the openings (wouldn't be a problem if you make it with the wheels down option). Almost no filling was needed and parts matched together first time, while the single piece central wing meant the wing angles were effortlessly right.

VERY GOOD
Good easy to assemble but could do with a little more cockpit detail.I liked it so much that I bought 3 more.

Good easily built model
Great model. Easily built with good fittings on the fuselage and wings. Little to no detail in the cockpit, but with the pilot and window there is very little visible anyway. One thing that was confusing was the spare parts that were in the box, such as a bomb and what I assumed where bomb-holders. Some instruction would be nice.Decals where easily placed, APART from the nose spinner one. I spent a lot of time trying to fit it correctly to no avail (see picture). For my build I decided to go for something else rather than go for one of the colour schemes in the information sheet, although those were very comprehensive.

Hours of fun
Unable to go out. This passed many hours away pleasantly

Nice little kit
Despite the sellers best efforts at ruining it,(the packaging consisted of an address label stuck to the outside of the box!) this is a great little kit.

Not worth money
Not worth the money could have got it out of the Pound shop looking at it

Usual Airfix quality, really good.
Usual Airfix quality, very little flashing, very clear detail in the mouldings, finished model looks great.

This is ideal if you like an easy build model. It's excellent!
It's been twenty years since I built a model, so I decided to start this as a hobby. It arrived on time in good condition. Excellent.
