Ill let you know it took me about an hour to figure out why it wouldnt connect. I have 2.4 and also a 5.0 and I finally realized i put the password for the 5G so I couldnt connect, after I checked my WIFI app and noticed that there were two passwords and then tried the other and it worked and loaded within seconds ! Please check your connection for correct speed. The camera works great, it is perfect color and clarity if there is any light at all, if there is little to no light It also works great but not in color....The microphone when you speak is very clear with just about one second delay and the cat can hear your voice clearly. The sound can be heard well, when the cat eats I can even hear her chewing the hard food ! It has SD and UHD .... Both give you a crisp video ! but one gives you a small lag but sharper image. I keep it on SD and with or without a light Its a 5 star ! The recorder works great but not really needed you can use it for security because the camera has a wider range compared to others i checked. The portion amounts and times of the day and days are so easy to set-up a child can figure it out. All in all I gave a solid 5 star. we will see if within time if I have any problems but this is a solid product made in China and I am very satisfied with the Durability and useability of this product. Works Flawlessly. If any problems while I am gone for 5 days I will be sure to update this rating accordingly.4 days away now and this feeder works flawlessly, the WiFi stays connected at all times and there is No disconnect ! I call the cat on the mic and she comes running, if I decide to feed her off schedule, otherwise the auto program works great ! There is no problem with WiFi and I was not waiting a few seconds after connecting which I thought it was disconnected from WiFi but it was not. I have to rate this 5 star because it did work exactly as advertised and could b be trusted when away on vacation. You can watch the food come out on your phone, video also very clear.

I am so happy I chose this cat feeder. It arrived the day before I left town so I was a little hesitant to use it. It was very easy to set up and connect to my internet. I played with it and it seemed to work better than expected. Left town Friday and was able to watch the food drop into the bowl and watch as my cat ate. It gave me great piece of mind being able to really see that she was being fed.I read reviews on so many cat feeders and even though this one did not have a lot of reviews it seemed to have everything I wanted so I took a chance and am very glad I did.1. The camera looks at the bowl so I can see the food.2. It has it’s own app and is easy to set up.3. Very easy to program meals and check to see the feed record.4. The manual feed is obvious.I can’t say enough good things about this cat feeder. While I was gone I must have opened the app to check on my cat at least a 100 times without an issue.I did accidentally do a manual feed twice but I think it was totally my fault.Overall this is a great feeder.

I gave this to friends for their cat Sammy. It needs your phone to be connected to the 2.4 Ghz Wifi, not the 5 Ghz. They didn't know that they had both. Once they found it it was a breeze to set up with the app. The longest time was spent on deciding how many portions Sammy was allowed to have at how many times a day for her to get a bit slimmer.

This is my fourth time trying out a feeder and this is the easiest one I have used and it’s very big! Would highly recommend.

This is a great device for any small animals. I love that I can set a timer on it to feed them at set determined times of the day. They have even learned roughly when their food will be dropping and sit patiently by it waiting for the beep and the food to drop. It saves so much time feeding our animals and gives us piece of mind that they've always fed when we want them to be fed.

I ordered this automatic feeder for my cat. He got stuck on a routine at specific times, that has since changed so he sits and stares at me and demands my attention until I feed him. Once unboxed, I cleaned the food storage and bowl and let dry overnight. I placed the feeder in the same spot as his food dish was to keep the familiarity, and he checked it out at the first food drop. I did have to entice him a bit with some treats, but he is quickly recognizing the sound each time food is dropped. Setup was quite easy. I was a little hesitant removing the storage part from the base to insert the SD card and clean the container...it's secured well. I had no issues with the app or connecting the feeder to my account (app). I will say that it DOES NOT consider daylight savings time, so I was confused when the first few planned meals didn't drop on time. Once I realized it was an hour off, I had to schedule the meal drops an hour early - at least until daylight savings yesterday when they started dropping at the scheduled time. The camera works great, including night vision (see photo), and the speaker and microphone are clear on both ends. I do kind of wish that I could tilt/pan the camera as only the front part of the food bowl is visible. I have had no issues with the food getting stuck, so far. It has motion detection, and takes a photo of the moment, but for some reason I get 2 notifications on my phone. It also keeps a continuous recording of the video as well as a record of each motion detection event along with the photo. Once the SD card is full, it automatically deletes the oldest event/video. These settings can be changed in the app. For an additional charge, you can sign up for cloud storage. It's a bit pricey in my opinion so I opted out. You do have the ability to watch the video feed live, including audio, take photos and videos, and using the microphone feature on the app to transmit through the feeder. The videos and photos can be shared in a number of ways, as well, however the videos do not save as a readable file and I cannot figure out how to save it as an MP4, AVI, etc. I like that the feeder is pretty customizable regarding portions and meal times. I'm still learning my way around the app (it's not just for the feeder, but other products by the same company).
