This All Terrain dolly works great!
When the manufacturer calls this an All Terrain Cart they really mean it!I have used this dolly extensively to transport 3 different sit on top kayaks: a 10 footer that weighs about 60 pounds, an 11 footer that weighs about 70 pounds and a 12 foot two man beast that weighs 85 pounds. The kickstand is a very useful feature. It is easy to deploy, but can be tricky to fold back up with kayak loaded if you are alone. Not a problem if you have a helper. The large diameter wheels roll easily over obstacles like rocks, roots, etc. Since the tires are not pneumatic, you don't have to pump them up and they will never go flat. I use a ratchet strap to secure kayak to dolly. I crank it down tight so that the kayak doesn't move around much when the cart bounces over obstacles. It is much easier with two people so that one can pull from the front while the other can help stabilize it from the rear and/or help push if you're going uphill. Conversely, a second person can help control your speed if you're going downhill. :-)The biggest problem I've had with this dolly stems from the way my big two man kayak is designed. It has two deep grooves on the bottom for directional stability. The spacing of the grooves is nearly identical to the spacing of the pads on the dolly. It's impossible to place that particular kayak on the dolly without one of the grooves resting on one of the pads. This causes the wheel of the dolly to interfere with the bottom of the kayak. I solved the problem by placing a thin piece of plywood between the pads and the kayak. But I do not fault the dolly for this problem. It's a compatibility issue with that particular kayak. The other kayaks have similar grooves but they're not as deep so it's not a problem. If you're going to use this dolly to transport a canoe or sit inside kayak, this probably won't be an issue. I believe those types do not have grooves on the bottom.

Nice product.
Happy to report that this boat dolly really works. I have a 12ft folding porta bote. I can attach the cart with the boat folded or open. Perhaps the only negative, and only slightly so, is these wheels are not great in loose sand. The home run blast would be to have a second set of wheels available that have a wider flatter tread for soft beach sand

Works well with Predator MK kayak, needs strap centering slot.
The Predator Mk kayak, fully loaded weighs about 190 lbs. The cart is sturdy enough to handle it. Strapped on just front of battery box, it handles well with moderate effort. There is ample clearance from the wheels for this tribulations. A couple of minor improvements would make it a much better product. The strap is looped under and over the outside bars/rails of the cart. With no retaining strap slots, the straps will not remain centered, slip toward front or back, causing a real pain... I'll weld a couple of attachment slots to fix it. The second problem involves a quality control issue during fabrication. When fully assembled for carrying kayak, the wheels are not vertical. One has a noticeable camber to inside, caused by misalignment of tie bars during welding process. This makes it weaker that normally aligned parallel wheels. I'll fix that also, probably forfeiting warranty. Still, a good cart.

Best purchase in years
I'm a diehard woodsman and for years carried a canoe into the woods to fish. Seldom will I do that again. Using a carrier cart is so much easier on your body. Since purchasing, I've used the cart eight times and three times I had it hitched to my mountain bike. (trips were as short as 150 yards and as long as 11 miles.) This is a great device out of the box and assembles quickly. Because I frequently use it on hiking trails a few modifications are necessary for it to work on rocky uneven ground: 1) add lock washers to the existing castle nuts on the wheels as they will fall off with lots of bouncing 2) ratchet strap the front and back of canoe to the cart as this will keep the canoe from shifting and becoming unbalanced (the provided strap only keeps the canoe from moving sideways on gentle ground).

Good Idea, sloppy craftsmanship.
Great concept. It handles my kayaks and inflatable nicely with a few modifications for hull shapes. The frame is an all tube steel, assembled then welded. Wheel support tube tolerances are sloppy but work OK. The short fall is in the small axles and what looks like an after thought of stacking nuts for spacing on the wheel stays. All the hardware including strap is of poor quality. Too heavy and too large to go in my boats so it will be left on shore when on the water. It is strong and should last a long time with proper care.

Initial review
Easy assembly, walked the canoe across the street into the lake. We'll check back after I've used it 20 times. Would like to know if the manufacturer would make a level up version with pneumatic tires and beastier materials. Not all ramps are nicely paved and I've been known to put the canoe in the water in a makeshift spot. Would like an off road, off ramp version.

Nice cart on first glance, but not very durable
I used this cart two or three times to tow my SUP about a mile behind a bicycle and then the wheels went floppy; turned out that one of the pair of bearings on each wheel just imploded and disintegrated - all the balls are gone, what's left are the remnants of the cages and the outer seal. I'm going to try to find some replacement bearings (looks like these may be skateboard bearings), as I need some kind of cart and this one is pretty useful overall - but the way it comes, the bearings are not very robust, perhaps not correctly braced internally with a spacer, or not well protected from side loads, as one or both of these appear to be what did them in. I also worry about them not holding up long to any salt water dripping from my paddleboard - there are signs of rust on the cart already from the light use it's had. If you're handy this may be worth a chance, otherwise keep shopping.
