THE ZEBRA WHO RAN TOO FAST

A delightful book for young children. Beautiful pictures and a simple story line that young people will understand and be able to learn from in their own relationships.

Zebra had two best friends, Elephant and Bird. They were three best friends together. This is an simple and engaging story about how different characters bring different things to friendship, how occasionally you can fall out with your friends and feel very lonely, and how you can make new friends and also make up with your old friends (Zebra looked at Elephant for a long time. I don't think that we can be three best friends any more, he said, because now we're four best friends. Four best friends together. And bird flew in and out of Giraffe's legs and made them all laugh.) The language is beautiful and the illustrations are perfect. Loved by my 15 month old, and the story is good enough that I'm happy to read it time and time again.

Lovely story but why are ALL the characters male??? Luckily my daughter can't read yet so I change them to female when reading, but seriously, at least a 50:50 split would be nice!

A brilliant little book for kids! My school kids absolutely love this!
