Q: Will the small size not tear my bettas fins?

I have a male delta tail betta and purchased the small set for him. About three days after placing these in his tank he had a long tear in his tail fin. I have since trimmed away the small plastic spiky parts that stick out around the base of these plants. His tail fin is almost completely healed and no new tears since.

Q: Are they silk plants or plastic?

In 2020, there are 13 different styles. They're ranging from a variety of plastic styles to silk.

Q: does the stone centerpiece fit around the bubble tube?

I don’t have that particular decoration but all the BiOrb centerpieces I’ve seen do go around the bubble tube

Q: Would the pink ocean centerpiece be too small for the 60L?

I don’t know of a Biorb that holds 60L. There’s a 15L/4 gallon for around $100 and one that’s 30L/8 gallon for around $150. I am referring to the spheres. This set is a little crowded in the smaller version and fits the larger one well. I have the smaller one and just leave a few pieces out.

Edges freyed quickly

Very quickly these went really frayed at the edges and went a funny green/black spotty colour. My tank is meticulously cleaned and water changed frequently so I’m not very pleased with the quality.

Looks really good but the red plant started breaking apart after 2-3 weeks. At first it was one or two branches, so I left it but eventually they all came out. The green one is fine, still.
