Love this hat, only problem I have had is this winter being unseasonably warm. The hat is too warm when the temps are in the 30’s, but is fantastic on the really cold days. I have a big head and the XL fits perfectly. Real fur is definitely the way to go.

First off, I can say this uses real fur, so keep that in mind if that's a moral problem for you. For me, it just meant one really warm hat to wear. It's a good size that fits my head well and I'm super happy with it.One thing I really like is the chin strap uses velcro instead of the buckles these typically have. It's a lot easier to do up that strap with gloves on when all you have to worry about is a velcro strip and it still holds the hat well on the head.However, there is one thing I'd change. The hat has ear flaps that you can raise or lower to make hearing easier. The flaps use an elastic loop that hooks over a button above them to hold them up. That's a poor decision as they're small loops and hard to fumble with. It also means your going to end up pulling out some of the fur whenever you raise or lower the flaps.Despite that, I still believe this is worth the $40 asking price as it's an incredibly warm and comfortable-to-wear hat. It even fit my head, which is usually too big for hats. Just make sure to take proper measurements to get the right size.
