Great alternative to concrete
Well I wouldn't say these are the exact same strength as concrete, but as long as you follow the instructions they are very close. It sure was a lot more convenient to handle several boxes of these versus several bags of heavy concrete so that's a plus. The only thing I would recommend is using two per fence post if you're going deep because these did not expand as much as I thought they would so I wish I would have done two in each hole.

It will really really grow..
Amazing stuff, I used it to “replant” an artificial tree in its pot. All I can say is wow! A little liquid and it grew to overflowing out of the pot. I was able to saw the foam once hardened. I wish they would make this in a smaller amount because it works great for crafting. One caution, make sure you are working on a tarp using it for anything other than posts.

Postloc is the Best Choice When Setting Posts
This was my first experience using Postloc and it performed beautifully! I had to replace my mailbox and post and I didn't want to just backfill with soil or have to deal with concrete. Since I was working alone, I wanted something that would set up quickly but be easy to use. After removing the old post, opening and clearing the hole, I set and braced the new post in the hole (make sure the post is plumb and set according to USPS specifications). I then added the two Postloc components together and shook vigorously, per the instructions. After mixing thoroughly, I poured the liquid evenly around the post in the bottom of the hole. The resulting polyeurethane foam slowly rose and completely filled the hole. Within 15 minutes, the foam was rigid and hard. The post was now completely locked in place and imoveable. Perfect! Very impressive.

Worked great for filling voids
I needed to true up my 18 year old 6x6 inch gate posts before replacing the gates. My original 6x6 gate posts were still very strong and set in 3 feet of concrete, but they both were out of plumb from years of weather. I decided to box in the old pillars with pressure treated 2x8 and fill the gaps with this post setting foam to make it solid after they were plumb. This foam filled in around the old post and held the external box in place like it was filled with concrete. The foam is very hard when cured and is working great for this above ground post experiment.

Don't use for basketball hoop
DO NOT USE TO SET A INGROUND BASKETBALL HOOP. It did not properly support my kids hoop. Had to dig up after a day to reset the post in concrete. Save your money. To bad I can't return the crap.

Only use for fence or mailbox posts
I had high hopes that this product would work for my project, unfortunately it was not strong enough for tall posts. I would use it for my mailbox or if I was building a fence but not for a standalone tall post.

Remove any water from hole. Place post in plastic bag and pour Postloc inside bag.
Used for a mailbox post. With water in the hole being an issue it takes 2-people to install, as you cannot brace the post ahead of time --- due to the water table here being about 2-feet you want to remove any water at the last minute. One person removes water from the hole and immediately places the post (already placed in a plastic bag or two) in the hole using a post level. The second person then quickly mixes the Postloc and pours the mixture inside the bag(s). I waited overnight to remove any overflow from the hole with a saw and then installed the mailbox. It is by far faster and less messy than using concrete. It may cost a little more than concrete, but well worth it.

Works really well.
Stuff expanded like crazy and really made it easier than pouring concrete for our new mailbox post. Would highly recommend. Took no time at all to mix the containers, pour in the hole, and let it set.
