I took a chance on this gas strut for my car due to the reasonable cost and whilst dubious seemingly have received a well made item.This strut obtained to replace the manufacturers failed gas strut on my vehicles dog guard, having measured and compared the size this duly ordered and received, when compared this 10mm shorter than the origonal however the ram stroke only needed to move about 40mm, this well within this struts capacity of movement.The two ball sockets one each end a standard size dependant on strut size so the included ball and thread supplied surplus to requirement, fitting took some effort as the gas strut piston requiring 200n of force to move however fitting achieved, the ball in socket secured by the supplied pin fitting as per origonal.One month on and the gas strut still working, at less than half the cost of the vehicle manufacturers part this universal strut worth the gamble.

Selected these struts from their Website to try to match my existing Caravan bed supports, and they look just like the originals. Cannot test them until we fit them to the Caravan in Spain! Thanks

Ideal replacement for the gas struts on my Snap On toolbox lid. All I had to do was tap out the fixings to M8x1.25 for the threaded ball joints. Works perfectly and miles cheaper than what Snap On wanted.

Didnt expect much for price paid but impressed with quality up to now
