Greart rack. Of course, instructions were put together as a cheap afterthought by illiterates, xeroxed repeatedly, then wadded up into package - but Youtube has good videos. Get the rack, laugh at the incompetent instructions, and go to work. Fit great, look great, good for light but bulky stuff on road trips.

HOOKE ROAD roof rack was made very well and pack very well also !! The powder coat was very good !! Putting it together wasn’t bad ! But instructions needs better pictures !You will need help with the install ! Would buy again !! Price was the best on line !! The fit was also good !!

Very well made. , torx head hardware could stand to be better. But acceptable. The unit itself is very solid well made and designed. I have already exceeded its stated load limit by 100 plus pounds no issues. More hook slots and t slots than youll ever need. Even freeway speed in cold dense air and wind little to no wind rumble except in sudden gust or odd angle crosswind . Very pleased 5 months of use now.

This thing is heavy and works well for carrying my tent. Heavy is the only thing I don’t like about it but it is very sturdy. Don’t forget to retighten the screws after your first trip. I offroad hard and it held up to trails at Hot Springs Off-Road Park very well.

Used on my 2008 Jeep jk 2 door. Easy to install and very well built. No regrets.

Liked fit and heavy duty looks good

I ordered this from Amazon Outlet so a few issues were expected. Upon opening the damaged box, all of the pieces were found to be in good condition but the small box containing the hardware was torn open. Two bolts were missing from the set. I contacted Hooke Road via email (no other option) and they told me that it could take up to two weeks to ship replacements. They offered to reimburse me for purchasing suitable hardware which I did. The instruction sheet is small, not easy to read or see the diagrams. It is also lacking in detail. Assembly wasn't difficult despite the instructions. I used sawhorses to make it easier than squatting on the floor. After assembly, I hoisted it up in the garage, drove my Jeep under it and finished the installation. One person install, about 2.5 hours. There is some wind noise and increased resistance while driving but I suppose that is the trade-off. I bought this primarily to mount an awning although any number of other off-road related items could be carried on this rack.

Looks nice and well-built. It's a nice addition to my Jeep.
