wantdo Women's Winter Parka Coat Sherpa Lined Warm Cotton Jacket with Removable Hood

I live in the northeastern US so I needed a winter coat that actually keeps me warm during hours of shoveling snow. This coat isn't water proof, but it is incredibly warm, having worn it now down to 18 degrees. The stupid puffy jackets and pretty wool coats Target and Kohl's stock just aren't suitable for outside activities in winter that last more than 5-10 minutes.I love the flap that snaps over the zipper, lined hood, and cargo style pockets deep enough to keep things from falling out even when not buttoned.The only things I'm not 100% in love with are the zipper sticks sometimes, so I have to be careful with it, and the bottom snap for the zipper flap came off the first time I unsnapped it to try the coat on. Thus the missing star.

I'm 5'5, about 150 lbs, small chest be with some belly flab. The Amazon picture makes this look flattering around the middle and a lot of reviews are saying it isn't. It's not quite as cute as the picture but there are draw strings inside to make it cinch around the waist to give it some shape. I bought a size medium. I usually wear medium and large t-shirts. I had room to cinch the waist and still fit a hoodie under. Hoodie fit fine under except where the wrists are tight. Nice sleeve length. Warmer than I expected. Good for Michigan days in the 30s when you don't want your huge coat you wear when it's 10 degrees. But the hood! The hood sucks. I did see a review that said the hood needs to be deeper. They we're not kidding. It will not stay up if there is any wind at all. And if you tie it the strings go across your face. Picture of that included. But over all, nice coat if you wear your own hat. Haven't had it long so the zipper works but I can tell it's not the highest quality. Would have felt better paying $40 for the coat rather than $70.

This coat is very warm, and will be perfect for a Wisconsin winter, which ranges from about -10 to 30 Fahrenheit. I am 5'3, 140 lbs and I ordered a large. I kind of wish I had gotten a medium, because the large is very, very roomy-- I could wear a sweater and still have a lot of extra room. I like that the sleeves have a band to keep the cold out. There is a big pocket inside on the left side. And I was pleasantly surprised to find that behind the two button pockets near the waist, there is a sideways pocket that is perfect for warming up your hands, and fits a cell phone, gloves, etc. And I want to also confirm the buttoning pockets are real pockets. I wish this coat came in navy blue.

Very comfy jacket and doesn’t feel cheap as I was kinda expecting. Only suggestion is to buy a size bigger than you normally would. I usually buy L/XL and I got XXL so I could wear a hoodie or a sweater underneath. If I had purchased a size or two smaller it would have been form fitting and no room for layering. I also have a large bust and small waist so the drawstring inside is nice to close up the gap.*edit* wore the jacket ONE TIME and the zipper bottom broke off so now I can’t zip up the jacket.

Im not sure how to rate this product as i was fully warned by previous reviews that this jacket is boxy and boyish. The title even says it. It turns out that it could not be more true. the shoulders are very square and boxy. it is a straight cut so the hip width is the same as the chest width. i have plenty of space up top but just barley can button the bottom button around my hips.However, this jacket is a beautiful color (teal), which is why i purchased, a great price, and very warm. It doesn't seem cheaply made at all. all the seams are even, buttons secure, has ample amount of pockets. The hood is removable. The sleeve length is great. Sturdy zipper..... exactly what i wanted except it looks like im wearing my husbands jacket.Im 5'4, 140 lbs and usually wear a 2 or a 4. I ordered an XL. if i had gotten a smaller size, i wouldn't have been able to zip it up, if i had gotten a larger size, it would have been too big and bulky at the top.If your not trying to win a fashion show, this jacket is great.

I needed a coat that was somewhere between my bomber jacket and my super heavy winter coat and this is it! Very cozy and warm, the temp this morning felt like 15 degrees and I felt fine walking out the door. I was also very happy to feel like this coat fits my shoulders better than most coats do. I got the green and it’s very cute.It has a zipper and snaps on the front, and on the inside there are strings to tighten it around the waist. There is even a pocket on the inside! The hood isn’t as big as I usually prefer but that’s not a huge deal to me. Overall a very cute and warm coat.

This coat is just what I was looking for. I have a really heavy bulky coat to play in the snow but it isn’t cute at all. I bought a very lightweight coat which doesn’t keep me warm so I wanted an in between warm casual coat. This coat is nice and thick and very warm. Temperatures just dropped and brought the Midwest a late snow storm. I was not cold at all in 24 degree weather. I checked all the buttons and stitching looks good on mine. I do wish the pockets were lined with something warmer. I ordered a medium. I am 5’6” and weigh 136 lbs. measurements are 34/27/38. The coat has plenty of room for bulky sweaters under and still have room. The waist has a tie I pulled in and knotted to give it more shape. Cute warm military style coat for great price. Very happy.

I purchased this coat for work. I wanted a coat similar to my husband's carhartt jacket. But I didn't want a man's jacket - I wanted something a little longer like a parka to keep me warm working outside. I am very happy with the purchase. The jacket is not as stiff and heavy as a carhartt, but it has the faux fur lining that keeps me very warm. I love the extra pockets in the front. There are a total of 6 pockets. 2 deep pockets on the front at the waist, and then smaller hand pockets behind those deep pockets. Then there are two shallow pockets on the chest. The hood pulls tight and stays in place. This is my second jacket because my first jacket the zipper broke. It would constantly come apart and was difficult to unzip to get the coat off. But they replaced it no questions asked. I am very happy with this coat and would purchase it again!

The coat is certainly warm, however, it has absolutely NO conture to it. I feel like I'm wearing a comforter. The picture shows it stylish...it is not. The inner sherpa lining came lime green as well. I can understand colours can vary, but this isn't even close to brown, or sand or neutral...it's ugly. Not close to the price I paid for it when compared to what the picture shows I should've received. Instead, I received grandma's old bed covering.

The zipper broke the first week instead of using a double zipper they use just a normal zipper so if you sit or bend over and the parka doesn't go up the zipper will break. The one pocket is falling apart and if you don't do up the buttons things will fall out. But it is very warm especially on those freezing winter days.

I thought it was worth the price until I took it out of its packaging. When I received it, it was so stuffed it the bag that it was horribly creased. My sister in law took it home to steam it without success I've been steaming it since she returned it. I haven't been able to wear it yet. I'm still steaming it but will have to wear it as is. I've improved its appearance slightly but it will always remained creased. The packaging MUST be improvedI've always been very satisfied with my orders. But let me tell you, this order was quite the nightmare.Very unsatisfied customer. Beware guys. It's beautiful when you see it online. But not the case once you receive it.

This is a pretty warm coat! So far at -18 this season, and I haven't been cold. The material is not like it is shown in the photo, but more like a canvas material. The hood is small, and makes it look like I have a really big head. I do not have a big head OK 😁. It would be great if the hood had some faux fur, then it would go perfectly with my....boots wit da furrr. It's not poofy; I have enough poofy, and I sure don't need a jacket adding extra 👌😁.

I have used it for less then 2 months and the pocket seem let go and the zipper pops open every time you move. Not happy!!
