The material of the clip is sturdy and can hold a great deal of weight even without being the climbing kind of carabiner. The problem I have run into is with the spring that keeps the clip closed. In the short time that I have had them four of the ten clips have had their springs break. Three of them had the spring break the first time the clip was opened. Fortunately, I needed them more as hooks than as clips so it isn't much of a loss for me, but I doubt I will buy this brand of clip again.

I actually bought these to keep the doors of a double diet feeder closed. The squirrels ( those little devils ) learned to open the doors. I tried wire to hold them shut, but the squirrels got the wires untwisted. These are the smallest clips, 1.5 inches. They just fit. I can envision lots of other uses for them, too.

These clips should suit my needs because the are the smallest carabiners I could find, and the spring closure seems pretty strong. Time will tell, and I will update this review if needed, but so far, thumbs up.

These are strong little guys but eventually I start having problems with the closing mechanism. It looks like a small flat piece of spring steel that moves and slips out. At that point you have to work it back in and smack the rivet holding the spring arm to tighten it back up. Not a big deal but not a great design. Most of them are like this though. They are OK at best.

From the description for these carabiners I was a little disappointed as they appeared to be smaller than described 1.90" but the quality was good even though they were smaller than I had hoped. I'll order larger carabiners next time from this supplier but these will work OK for small clips and keychains. Thank!

This carabiner feels pretty sturdy for its small size. I use these to attach tools to my wrist band when working on anything where dropping a tool could be a disaster (boats, etc.). I also like the clear, resealable pouch they come in.

Just what I was looking for in this kind of clip. I’m using them to hold my flag to my flagpole. The clips that came with the flag and pole were weak and they just weren’t strong enough. I saw these clips and they are strong and built well, just as advertised. I’m very happy with them. They came packaged in a plastic case and in great condition. I recommend using these for many uses. Will buy again.

These are very small so, I was a little surprised. They do what I thought they would/could for the reason I bought them, but they are not that great for key chains or other larger things you might want to do.

Perfect size and sturdy to clip my keys to my purse!

A little smaller than I expected but they do a good job of connecting my keys to my belt loops.

This gadget has made my life so easy. It used to be a pain to take keys off my key chain and now it's not!
