Safety
They're fine. They don't cut worth a damn but they're safe.

Ok, but too hard for 2.5 year old
I was a little disappointed with these. I bought them at the recommendation of a blog I follow. Maybe my daughter (2.5) is too young for these. I also bought her a pair with a spring. She needs the spring action still. She can’t do much with these. I keep them in her activity box, I’m sure as she grows some more they will be easier for her. My 7 year old can use these great. And I like that they won’t cut their hair.

It’s awesome
It’s perfect! My daughter has small hands and still struggles, but definitely will get a hang of it.

Cute and Useable
These actually cut paper very well.We haven’t tried them on thick paper like cardstock but we have used them to cut out paper doll clothes. Perfect for my 5 year old Granddaughter.

Cute but crap 💩
Bought for my 3yo toddler. They were very hard to use, did not cut construction paper easily at all. Frustrating for toddler. I tried them as well and it cut not easily, had to try over and over again over same spot. The handle also broke off one side. Cheap plastic and “blade” needs to be Sharper. I would not recommend.
