Great cover for harsh oregon weather.

Raccoons had been getting into my grill nearly every night, pulling out the drip tray and displacing they burner covers. I took a lot of preventative measures to deter the raccoons, but they didn’t work. Thats when I discovered this grill cover. It’s durable and heavy around the base to keep the raccoons out. Obviously, the weight of the cover requires more effort to remove and put back on, but it’s not difficult. Very pleased with this purchase!

I purchased a CoverSeal for my large grill about a year ago. Because of the weighted bottom, it tends to be a little awkward when covering and uncovering the grill. But that minor inconvenience was nothing compared to its benefits—because it really did the trick! We live in a rural area with plenty of rodents, and I haven’t had to chase away mice or remove any nests with all their acorn shells and other nasty stuff since using the CoverSeal. And despite many periods of high winter and spring winds, it never once blew off the grill (although the grill itself moved a few times!).We use our grill year-round, so the cover went on and off 50-75 times during the past year. It sits in the sun for much of the day. And in the winter, we had to shovel snow from around it. That all took its toll on the lower part of the cover which began to crack near the end of winter. The worst part was that the sand at the bottom (which weighs down the cover) began to seep from several locations. Duct tape was helpful for a while. But by late spring, it had lost a lot of sand. So, I recently considered purchasing another. When I went to the CoverSeal website, I discovered that the cover had a one-year warranty, so I called the company to tell them about the fabric wear and the sand leakage. I’d barely said a word when they offered to replace it with an updated version that hopefully will better withstand the elements. It arrived a couple of days ago and it seems like the new material is more rugged—and it is a black bottom, which even looks nicer.I would have given the product 4 stars due to poor wear, but the fact that I didn’t have to deal with rodents all year was worth more than 5 stars. And because of the excellent customer service and the knowledge that this company is continuously improving its product(s), I simply had to give it 5 stars. It is no doubt an expensive cover, but if I had to buy one every 2-3 years, I’m quite certain I would! This is a product that works; moreover, the company itself is clearly a reputable one.

And you know what amazes me the most you get a storage bag with drawstrings but usually you can’t get it back in once you take it out I could put it back in and be able to keep it instead of throwing it away—that also is well-made. Thank you.

My BBQ was being visited nightly by rodents and I could not get rid of them after cleaning it over and over. I purchased a Coverseal even though I was skeptical whether it would work. Well, color me impressed, it was amazing, the rodents could not get access and have never returned since (this was about a year ago).I am writing a review now because I had an issue with the cover and I spoke to the company. Melissa, the owner, answered the phone. She was great, responsive, and contacted me directly via text. I told her I was impressed by the product and wondered why nobody else was following their footsteps... it's brilliant! Well, the product is patented, so that's why.In any case, she replaced the cover promptly with the newer model, which corrected the issue and I believe it won't happen again.Love the company, love the product, love the customer service! Do yourself a favor and buy one of these.

Recently we had a lot of rain and wind and blew off my bbq cover. Bought coverseal and extremely happy. It’s the best cover I ever bought. Stayed secure to the floor and super easy to put on since it’s not fitted (those are always so annoying). Also it fits my new Traeger xl which is huge. Highly recommend

I thought I was searching for a product that did not exist. I needed a grill cover to keep critters out. I almost gave up and tried to make my own, then my husband found this cover. It solved the problem! I know some people are not pleased with the silver color, but the manufacturer states that it is necessary to reflect the sunlight. But our grill is located in the shade ,so we turned the cover inside out and it looks great. Much better! LOL The large size is a perfect fit for our Weber Genesis E325s.

Mice love my grill and I am sick of dealing with it. Living near a field and wooded area means trapping is not a permanent solution. After having mice chew holes through my old cover and turn my grill into a hotel, I decided to pull the trigger on this cover hoping it would keep them out.I put it on as instructed and double checked all the edges were flat on the deck. 2 days later I go back to fire up the grill and it's mouse-city again. After chasing them out and disinfecting the grill the second time this week, I find the mice had chewed through the bottom sandbag seal, causing the cover to lose sand in that area and making a hole for them to crawl through. These are not super mice or rats, just regular deer mice.Bottom line is, it's a decent heavy cover that will stay on in rough weather, but don't count on it keeping rodents out. They have no trouble chewing through the material.

Works exactly the way the manufacturer claims. Excellent! Was not keen on the silver color, so reversed it to black, but have to admit, it is in the shade.

Worked well first year. Second year use and the sand is leaking out.☹️
