This is the most gorgeous book on gardening I've seen in years. Seriously. I follow the author on Instagram so, I'm not surprised the book is as beautiful as it is. If you're looking for garden inspiration that you can enjoy for years to come, this book is THE BEST.

Talented photographer creating a portfolio of talented gardener designers around the world. I have more garden photography books than I can count. But this one is memorable not only because of the wonderful gardens depicted in it, but also because of the quality printing of Ms. Takacs' beautiful photographs. Really a lovely book.

I am very pleased - and shocked that I am the first to comment since the book has been out for a month now. This is a large collection of images, gardens and people (no images of people, but the book includes short histories of how they shaped their gardens). Ms. Takacs provides some lovely views. As someone who loves to photograph plants and landscapes, I especially enjoy the details she shares about her photographic shoots and challenges. I certainly appreciate the efforts she took to capture each garden in the most flattering light. I accidentally (just now) knocked the book from my table. It fell to the floor and I've dented the cover. The corners were dented when it arrived and the back cover is separating from the spine.

Beautiful book, but cover arrived damaged/marked up - so if you expect to put it on display somewhere, keep in mind that it’s not wrapped in plastic for protection.

Just enough words to tell a story but the images dominate and tell there own tale, something for all seasons that you can get lost in. Quality photographs on quality paper, highly recommend.

Beautiful book for coffee table

Beautiful book with stunning photos and interesting descriptions. Arrived on time and in good condition.

One of the best gardening books I have ever seen. Not only because of the quality of the photographs, which is of course excellent, but mainly because of the choice of the gardens to portray. We are entering a new era in landscaping, beyond the austerity of grasses into a land of make-believe. A totally poetic book, which portrays the power of imagination that can prosper even in the era of low maintenance and of carefully controlled water use. Totally inspiring
