Artame Luna Pressure Cooker, 23 Litre

This is principally a review of this listing, rather than of the product's build/quality.1. The info on this product page is contradictory. The title says it is the 23l version, as does the description and some of the measurements. However, the product code is 'ARTAME10L' and the 'in the box' says '1 x 10Litre Pressure Cooker'. I decided to order it and hope it was the larger. When it arrived it was the 23l size, but I had another problem.2. The product being sold here is the 'Artame Luna Hotel 23l ', which is, in fact, different to the 'Artame Luna 23l '. You cannot know this without looking at the accompanying manual. I bought this with hopes to use it for preserving and jarring, as such I needed it to be able to sterilise jars. Typically you need 15psi of pressure to do this. (This allows you to get up to temperatures of about 121 degrees C, needed for steam sterilisation).The description clearly says it has a setting for 10psi and 15psi, with it being safe up to 23psi.This is completely untrue, unfortunately. The actual product's highest setting is about 11psi. I've attached a picture of the manual and the valve on the lid. You can clearly see that it has only two settings, and matches the specification for the Hotel variant of the product; which only reaches 80kPa. (11.603psi)So, I've had to return this product obviously. Amazon needs to seriously review this listing.

Does what it says on the tin. After heavy use the rubber ring needs replacing but thats understandable. The clamping mechanism broke on mine but from my own mis-use of trying to clamp the lid on while the contents were too hot. Read the instructions and use it properly and it should last a while
