I'm a fan of Maples Rugs. US company, great colors and designs. I love that they are rubber backed. I dont need or want thick plush heavy carpeting everywhere. I actually prefer a thin rug, but that comes at the cost of needing a separate backer to keep them in place. I had stumbled upon a Maples Rug several years ago that was large enough to use as an area rug and had good rubber backing. I loved it, and I still have it, but recently I retired it as my mood for something else came up (now I use it outside). I didnt replace it with another Maples, if only because I didnt see the color/pattern I wanted. But I imagine at some point I will. Then there are other areas of the house where I have smaller Maples Rugs- in front of doors, etc. I have probably 6 rugs of assorted sizes from this brand. I just like it, a lot.Yes, they are thin, light, but that rubber backing is where it is at for me. If you need thick, plush, then seek elsewhere. I totally understand. These may not be for everyone because of the lightweight factor. On the plus side, no matter the size, they fold up or roll up easily for storage.When I decided to get a new little rug for my step dad, I immediately set out to look at Maples Rugs. He had a rubber backed rug that was falling apart and no longer had any grip on his ceramic floor. I bought this as a Christmas gift and he began using it immediately. I can toe it a little and it moves, so not sure if it is a matter of the rubber not being as grippy as my others, or it is simply the flooring that it is on. He has it in a cold spot of the house on a slick ceramic floor. Basically in a breezeway between kitchen and heading out to the garage. But it does slide around, and is way better than what he had.One note on vacuuming. I find that using the non beater bar option (like a floor option) is better than the carpet option. These are short knap, and the beater bar could eventually pull up on the fibers. Best to shake out the rugs and then vacuum floor, or just gently go over the rug itself. Can be washed in washer no problem.

Recently my husband and I purchased a patio home, we laid LVT Throughout our home and we had not plan to cover them with throws because the floor is beautiful but, it is on a slab and I enjoy walking in my bare feet and guess what I discovered it is too cold for that, so I decided to purchase a couple of area rugs I read reviews on several different sites and found the reviews on Maple rugs were good so I decided to purchase, I received them and I love these rugs. They stay where you lay them, they are beautiful and vibrant colors, they are not plush but they are well made. I started out purchasing three rugs and now I’ve purchased three more. I’ve received so many compliments, and they honestly make a room feel warm and inviting. We are still working on pulling the place together so I will try to show pics later once we are done. But we are very pleased with our choice and we will probably purchase two larger rugs for the couch and kitchen table area.

I ordered this and it was slightly too small for the room and the colors were not as I expected so I started a return. The only place I could return it to without having to pay was UPS store so that's what I did. I get there and was informed that I'm supposed to package this 5'x7 ft rug That came to me in a plastic bag that could not be opened without being destroyed. Long story short I spent a long time at the UPS store and $4 out of pocket before I could finally get this area rug out of my possession!The rug was okay it just didn't work for me but due to the issues returning, I can't recommend.

I love these rugs! They are not overly thick, so they don't cause closet doors to drag, and they are not too thin, so they are heavy enough to stay laying flat and smooth. They look awesome in our space. I originally purchased 2, for a long hall. I liked them so much, I purchased another for the short hall at the end of the long hall. Color saturation is nice, not too bright, and not faded. Color saturation is consistent among the 3 rugs I purchased (see photos). Very slight difference in width of one of them, but I'm able to arrange the three I purchased so that you don't notice the size difference. Great value! I would order rugs from this company again!!!!

I LOVE washable rugs! This vacuums up easily and better yet, all I have to do is throw it in the washer (and even the dryer) and it comes out looking great every time. Durable (it's in my kitchen), even with a 90 lb. Golden Retriever, and the backing is non-skid and works extremely well. The company no longer offers the size I originally bought, which is a huge disappointment. I'll keep trying because I would love another as a back-up.

I have only been using these rugs/mats for a few weeks. The colors are perfect for my home decor, and will match most modern farmhouse design. The nonslip backing is perfect for the landings on my staircase going to the basement. The only thing that will be spilled on them is coffee and they will be easy enough to throw in the washer.

Super soft! Wanted something to cover the ugly, ice cold tile in my bathroom and this is perfect. Even once we remodel our bathroom, the rug will stay because I like it so much. Love the colors and I liked it so much I ordered a larger one for my living room that will be arriving tomorrow.

I put the runner down center of the bed where dogs jump up! Looks fine. My complaint is that when I opened the box it stunk like cigarettes. But the rug was wrapped in plastic so it was fine. But ugh had to take box and padding out of house right away.

Bought this for my senior dog's eating area in the kitchen. She kept slipping on the floor while trying to eat. Didn't want anything "looped" cause her nails get stuck. Chose a pattern to match my kitchen decor. Rug came nicely wrapped and boxed and laid flat the minute I put it down. Rubber backing is substantial and colours are beautiful. I like it so much that I just ordered the matching runner to put at my back door. I imagine it will be easy to wash in the washing machine and I never put rugs in the dryer anyway - I let them air dry, that way they last longer.

The colours are rich and wonderful, the backing makes sure it stays put and doesn’t slip at all…I am so happy with this purchase! My home office, where I spend many hours a day, has such a warm vibe now. It was totally worth the cost.

We were looking for a particular size area rug for our inside foyer area. This one seemed to tick the boxes! It arrived very quickly, and fits perfectly in our intended location. Overall the colours are a bit more gray then blue in places, but we are very pleased nonetheless!

I purchased this rug as a replacement for one that didn't work out. I was nervous this one was gonna be the same but it's much nicer and flattened out almost right away, no smell besides the normal new rug smell. The non slip is great!! Wold definitely buy again.

I purchased 6 of these to help my aging dog walk on our hardwood floors. They are so easy to wash as you can just put them in the washing machine. They don’t slide around on the floors and my dog doesn’t get her nails caught on the material. And they are very pretty, exactly what I needed.
