UPDATE: Still love these! Since I wrote the original review I bought another pair. The second one without holes in the bottom. I went to my foot ortho and she liked them too!! They have held up and they are the only shoes I wear (actually they are the only shoes I CAN wear as I have severe deformation on one foot from RA)I have to say these are my walking everywhere shoes! I have wanted to use barefoot shoes for a while now but think that they are so expensive and was not sure how I would like them. So I got these to try them out. Now there is no going back. These shoes are so comfortable - my toes and feet are in heaven! I have a bunion on one foot and I do not feel it or have any pain at all with the shoes. I usualy wear a size 9.5-10 and got the 10 and they are perfect. I know they are supposed to be water shoes but I wear them everywhere and they have great traction. They are rubber on the bottom. The insole slips out when you take the shoe off. But this only happens if you are not wearing socks. Not sure what would happen if your shoe is wet. When I wear socks this does not happen. Not a big deal for me. The insole looks like it has support but it does not. The reason it has a curve all over the back is for comfort. I do take them off sometimes for a more barefoot feel. One thing I wish is that they did not have the rubber comming up the front as if they were one of those glove shoes. In my opinion it makes them look kind of dorky. But I will wear them anyways because my toes are happy.

Stayed on well at the water park. Walking on concrete is hard on the legs as there isn’t any shock absorption. At the lake, the grit gets inside and quickly becomes uncomfortable. Also feel all the rocks through the soles. They are alright for the water park as they won’t fall off while going down the slides. I haven’t used them at a sandy beach, but if grit from the lake gets in so will sand.

These shoes are so comfortable got them for jamaica vacation . I think. I wore these on vacation.more them my cute Sanders?And the white color went with every color bathing suit I had.

I used these for entering a lake from a rocky shoreline. I removed the insoles because they didn’t seem like they’d be practical. Of course this left the bottom of the shoes softer, but they still worked well for my purposes. I had never used water/river shoes before and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to swim as well with these on, but it wasn’t too bad. The only thing is that they didn’t drain very quickly, but I don’t know if that normal or not as this was my first pair.

There are all different kind shoe in One page but their design is very different. This one I bought has no hole at the bottom of the shoe, so my feet were more swallened than what I expected it to be, although having holes in the bottom is not going to prevent that from happening 100%, but I think it should be very helpful. Also I think the insole is too thin, with that much walk in the water park, I fee will feet feel pain sooner than I expected too. So it is not a bad buy, it is just not good enough .

I have a very hard time finding shoes. EVERYTHING HURTS! At first these felt tight, but only hurt over the instep. I removed the elastic laces and replaced them with regular laces. Problem solved! NO PAIN!

My daughter loved these shoes. They fit very well. Her only complaint was that “stuff still got in between her toes from the river (at camp).”

these are more comfortable than I thought they would be. Well made not sure if I would wear them out. I don’t think they would protect your feet as well as regular shoes.
