Color:Green From button, to oyster, to Portobello, mushrooms can add a savory flavor to a plethora of dishes, but due to their sensitive skin, dirt must be cleaned off gently. Hence, fusion brands introduces you to the mushroom cloth, a soft flexible silicone gentle-touch mushroom and vegetable-cleaning tool that works like a brush, but is gentle like a cloth to remove dirt and debris without scaring or discoloring delicate mushroom skins. The compact easy to hold design has two sides to the cloth-one side is covered with over a thousand small soft bristles that delicately clean the mushroom, the other side features undulating "wiping Waves" to handle hardier skinned vegetables like carrots and potatoes or even fruit. The flexibility of the mushroom cloth allows for full contact, contouring to the shape of the food, enabling faster and more thorough cleaning, especially in tight areas or uneven textures around the cap, stem and gills of the mushroom. The mushroom cloth is non-porous, is resistant to bacteria growth and Dries fast to prevent moisture from collecting and is dishwasher safe. The mushroom cloth functions like a brush, but is gentle like a cloth.

Best at it's job
Nice. Doesn't scrape the skin off anything. Works great on Crimini's. It's very gentle while still doing the job. This is the 3rd one I've tried for Crimini mushrooms and I don't need to try any more. Works great and still removes the, hmmm, lets say dirt...from the mushrooms. Is gentle enough to use on most any soft skinned veggie.

Good for veggies iffy on mushrooms
It is great for regular veggies but I think it is a bit rough for mushrooms.

EZ wipe down of mushrooms, EZ to clean/dry.
I usually clean mushrooms with paper towels or a brush, because they are 90% water, and they readily absorb more, so I prefer not to wash them with more water. Wiping down w paper towels gets to be a mess, and uses up lots of paper. Brushes are better, but they have to be just right softness, otherwise it scrapes off too much, and even then, the brush gets soiled and hard to clean. So, when I saw this, I thought it might work...but honestly, I was skeptical. Glad I tried it! This soft silicone mat/brush is perfect—nubs and fins are just right for wiping down the mushrooms (dry, no water). As one reviewer said, best for use on firm, fresh mushrooms...but I used on day-old mushrooms that were not super firm, and worked just fine. Best feature of this mat—EZ to clean and dry.

Nice little scrubber
Holds the soap and does a good job scrubbing the potatoes and other vegetables like carrots. I don't often buy mushrooms, so haven't used it for those.

Useless
Really a useless gadget. It can remove some dirt when the mudrooms are fresh from the store but it is useless after the mushrooms have been refrigerated. The best way to clean the mushrooms is wash them quickly. Whatever water they may soak will evaporate in cooking anyway.

Works Great as a Fidget!!!
I saw this and instantly thought of my 11 year old. He is ASD and ADHD. This silicone mushroom cleaner is QUIET!!! He can interact with it in the classroom and not distract other students. It is small - about 3x3", so his hand covers it and he can easily store this in his pocket or binder. There are 3 different textures, plus a hole to hold his interest. He just said he LOVES it and hoped to be able to have a second one for Scouts! Since he has never mentioned any other fidget - ever - I couldn't buy the second one fast enough!Great value for the money, dishwasher safe, and he LOVES it!!!#Autism #ADHD #Fidget

It does a good job removing any soil or debris on the shrooms
This works well as long as one has fresh mushrooms to clean. It does a good job removing any soil or debris on the shrooms. I've discovered that if I've had the mushrooms in my frig veggie drawer for a while it doesn't do as good a job, at which time I'll clean them under running water.
