Worth the money easy to use vey very sharp

I use a box cutter every day and have one in almost every room of my house. I was curious as to how these worked and have to admit that when I ordered them that I didn't consider the fact that they weren't refillable. Unless I'm missing something, they aren't, so regardless of how they operate, I wouldn't reorder them simply because I don't want to put additional plastic into the environment.Since I've already done that, my first issue is that each one of these contains a single blade that is not refillable and a single blade doesn't last very long when cutting open paper and plastic, both of which will dull a blade fairly quickly and once it's dulled, it's done. My next issue was that even after watching the video of how this works, I found it awkward to use, particularly on packages that had been taped so securely that there was no opening in which to insert one of the wings containing the blades. The punch point on top didn't help because it needs to be used with some force to pierce the tape and that's not an option on a box containing fragile contents.My final observation is that even though these cutters are designed for safety, the blade cannot be closed off completely whereas other cutters I own have the ability to completely retract the blade so that there is no possibility of touching a bare blade when reaching in a drawer to find it. This is true of every other box cutter I've ever owned, so in that respect I feel that they are safer than these "safety blades". In addition, some of those cutters are refillable and some of them aren't but the non-refillable ones have long blades that can be snapped off to reveal a brand cutting surface so that it can be used for a much longer period of time. I like the rainbow sherbet colors of these cutters and I will use them until there's no use left in them but I think the retractable, refillable and less expensive cutters are still the best solution for me.

These blades chip way too easily and don't last very long at all. One "safety" cutter can only cut a few boxes before being too dull or chipped to do any cutting.

I did not receive 60 of these items I received a box with five packages of 10 each. I needed 60 that's why I purchased the package I did.

Can't really say much about these, they work how they're designed and they haven't broken yet.

Guard of the knife broke after 2 days of use, leaving blade exposed.

I didn't think I'd need so many but I understand why now after really putting these to the test. They work quite well....but not for long. The plastic bits especially around the blades bend very easily.Blades are nice and sharp but dull fairly quick.Gets caught on softer cardboard, like cardboard boxes that have been dropped as happens often. Softer just gets caught and doesn't want to cut. Nice stiff cardboard cuts like butter.They're good but could be better.

As many times as I've had to search for scissors or a knife to open boxes that are taped up very well, I never knew that I needed this product until I bought it and tried it. These box cutters are very lightweight, they work perfectly at opening boxes of any size, and this product is a great value for the number of pieces you get in the package. Great for work or home. Definitely recommended.
