My low profile ting markers were sliding under my chunky yarn, never enough to actually lose my place, but enough yo annoy me fishing them out. These work great.

I purchased these to use when making crochet plushies because sometimes I lose stitches when working flo/blo and thought these would be an easy way to mark the stitches without taking the time for locking stitch markers…it is, BUT these are a very slippery plastic and move around a lot….and if they get moved enough you start dropping stitch markers all over the place. Normally Bernat Blanket yarn likes to grip everything…but not these markers.

Even though the measurements are given in the description, I was surprised when I saw how large they are. That's OK -- they will be perfect when knitting or crocheting with bulky yarns. The large quantity is great, too, because I am going to share them with my family members who also crochet.Some of the markers have unwanted tiny plastic bumps that could catch on the yarn, but not all of them. I can easily smooth them with a few brushes on a piece of sandpaper -- but there are so many markers, I can also just choose the ones that are already smooth!

These stitch markers are easy to use. I love that there are enough for any size project. I also like being able to always have a high contrast color with any yarn I am using making it easy to see them. Two sizes for finer and bulky yarns makes them easy to work with.

They are fine for what they are but it’s better to get the ones that close like safety pins. These just fall out all the time and are really annoying.
